My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights last month and really enjoyed our stay there. Our apartment was very clean and we really appreciated the kitchen that was stocked each day with food for breakfast. It is in a great location, near the Rialto Bridge, convenient to everything. The staff, Eleanora, was very helpful, with restaurant suggestions. There is no elevator so the steps might be a problem for some people although Eleanora helped with our bags.

Room Tip: Ask for a room not on the square, might be quieter.

Just returned from two nights at this wonderful apartment! The apartment was a little hard to find, but once inside the door everything was wonderful. We travelled with our 20 year old twin daughters and the apartment was spacious with a large bedroom, pullout sofa and eat in kitchen which was stocked with breakfast food daily. The bathroom was a good size too with a hot shower. Also, free wii fi worked well. We were greeted by Eleonora who was very helpful and sweet. We were greeted in our apt. With a bottle of Prosecco as well, which was wonderful. The location is excellent and walking distance to everything. It is right by the Rialto bridge which is a beautiful area and we took a beautiful gondola ride with Fabio. The weather was perfect too. Would definitely recommend this apartment!

We loved our short stay at the Residenza Ca' Foscolo in Venice. We upgraded to an apt on the canal and couldn't be happier with the gondoliers outside of our window. The staff was wonderful, treating us to champagne in celebration of our 20th anniversary. The B & B is located in a wonderful area, too. They stocked us with morning breakfast foods which was greatly appreciated.

Room Tip: ask for an apt on the canal side. We were in #9 and loved it!

Although this was our first visit to Venice, we have traveled extensively and believe that one would struggle to find a better combination of comfort, cleanliness, and value for a family trip to this wonderful city. Our family of two adults, two teenage boys, and seven year old girl, had plenty of room in our spacious two bedroom apt./flat. The entire place was very clean and beds were quite comfortable. The breakfast had enough variety to satisfy varied tastes and the kitchenette was well stocked. Since we were traveling with limited luggage, it was handy to have a washing machine in one of the rooms. Eleonora was very nice and provided wonderful directions, hints, and restaurant suggestions.
The location was only a few quick minutes to the Rialto Bridge, small supermarket, and numerous shopping and restaurant choices. Early morning noise along the canal may wake light sleepers, but for us, this was no bother and we actually enjoyed the immersion in the daily boat operations required to service this unique city. Our three night stay in Venice was wonderful and Ca' Foscolo was the perfect relaxing accomodation to return to after long days of walking. We highly recommend this hotel for families or couples traveling together.

Room Tip: Room No 7 had balcony off of the living room over the canal. Nice for checking weather and watching...

Stayed there with my family (two children age 9 and 7) last July on the recommendation of the friend of a friend and we were not disappointed. The one-bedroom apartment was big, clean and very well located. There were books and toys for the kids. The refrigerator was stocked for breakfast every day (the day before), nothing fancy, but if I recall correctly there was cheese, juice, yogurt, some kind of wrapped bread/brioche, cold cuts, etc... which helped us get a good start in the morning. Because the selection offered was not that great AND because we had a lactose intolerant person in our group, we did have to supplement with food purchased at a small food mart located close by, but the lady at the reception was very helpful in locating this on a map of the city. She also recommended a pizza place right next to the hotel which was amazing (see other review). Our room did not face the canal - we preferred a quieter room, and it was indeed very quiet, on the third floor which made for a lot of narrow stairs every day, but we knew this beforehand so it was fine with us. They also arranged a private water taxi for us, to bring us to the airport at the end of our trip, and everything went very smoothly. All in a all an excellent choice for the price, especially considering the very steep prices at other Venice hotels!

The apartment was great with a wonderful room. The living room/kitchen is comfortable and well-equipped. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. The situation is great to reach all the most touristic places in Venice, less so if you are looking for a bit of calm. On the minus side, they had no single beds, only double. Also I booked though "Last Minute" and there had been a misunderstanding between Ca Foscolo and them resulting in us getting a 1-bedroom apartment with sofa-bed in the living room instead of the 2 bedroom apartment I booked... That's why its getting only 4 stars.

This hotel exceeded our expectations. What more could one want? It has clean comfortable beds, clean bath, well-stocked kitchen and breakfast items, plenty of room and is well-located near the Rialto Bridge. No elevator might be a problem for some but staff carried our bags up and we needed the exercise.
We traveled with a daughter and granddaughter and loved having the space to visit and eat in. Staff was extremely helpful and provided good information and maps. Restaurant recommendations were good. If we return to Venice, this will be our hotel choice.
