We had no issues with this B&B! We aren't picky travelers and they had all the basics we needed! Our room was a pleasant surprise! It was huge, with a large balcony overlooking the rooftops and the people below. It was a good price for what we needed. The morning we had to check out, we slept through our alarm, almost missing our train leaving from Venice. If it hadn't been for Mutu, we would have completely missed our train, since we didn't know the quickest way to the station. He had us follow him through the narrow streets to the nearest water taxi that would take us directly to the train station. He went out of his way to help us and was incredibly unexpected! What a lifesaver and many, many thanks to him!

Upon arrival, we were not given assistance with lifting heavy luggage up 3 flights of stairs. Was only when we were near the top of stairs that the host offered us assistance. Wasn't bothered by the stairs. Location good, away from tourist precinct, felt much more like the true venetian life style.

Loved decor of the establishment, a lot of beautiful paintings etc. Also, cute piano in one of the rooms. Hosts provide you with free breakfast which is nice, saves a trip to the hustle and bustle, lol.

Dissapointed with the fact that I'm now covered in bedbug bites from the poor hygiene of linen, has left the rest of my travels really uncomfortable, I'm infact itching as we speak. Shower had poor pressure & hot water service, but that's okay due to age of building and water system.

There was also poor signage out the front, though was still easy to find once located.

To get up to the bed and breakfast you must first unfortunately climb 3 large flights of stairs. However, this is understandable as the building is original. The host did not offer to help to get our luggage up the stairs. The b&b has two bathrooms on offer. They were nice however the water pressure and heat was poor. The room was large and included a couch, although we were only provided with a sheet, no doona. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was good. The location was very good. It was close enough to the close enough to the centre however away from the business. I would have been happy with my experience if not for the excessive amount of bed bug bites obtain from the beds.

Arrived in the afternoon after a long flight- to find we had to walk up 3 flights of stairs with our luggage whilst the host stood at the top watching. Our room was spacious, but the curtains were broken and the blinds didn't work. The water pressure in the showers is terrible, along with the drainage- no bath mats provided just a mop with a bucket of dirty water. When we asked to use the washing machine provided the man was extremely rude, even locked the kitchen door so we didn't have access. One of the hosts was very pleasant and helpful- the other, very rude and made us feel very uncomfortable staying there- when we needed assistance we could not get any as he was outside tanning on the balcony which we did not have access too. To top off our stay- all 3 of us are head to toe in bites due to bed parasites.

This place was awesome! It's not fancy, but it was nice. The guys working the place were really nice. We got a sweet room - huge and with a piano! It was in a great, location, too: close to St. Mark's Square, but far enough that it was still quiet and out of the way. Nice place. We were recommended here by friends. Good choice!

Room Tip: You should get the piano room, if you need a double. It was super nice!

Just like anyone, I like to save some money when travelling, but next time I decide to pick a cheap place to stay, I will do more research! The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, but that was it. There was no mirror or garbage can in my room, which I feel are pretty essential. In the one shared bathroom, there was never any toilet paper, which made me question how many times did they clean it, if they never even noticed the lack of toilet paper? The staff was friendly and he waited, nicely, for my late arrival, but honestly the location wasn't that good either - I was a bit worried walking there at night and there was no lights outside the place, nor a sign for the business. And the doors in the place required slamming to shut, so whenever someone opened or closed a door, I was woken up.
