“Good value, Superb Location”
Reviewed 29 May 2014

I stayed at the hotel for three days, Single, windows facing the courtyard.

LOCATION 94/100
Venice and most of its sites are practically within 10-15 minute radius by foot. St. Mark's, Doge's Palace, Bridge of Sighs, Rialto, Marciano Library and Museum, within 5-10 minutes. Accademia and Sta. Maria della Salute and many churches, 15-20 minute walk. All the rest, 30 minutes.

Many say Venice is best explored on foot. The hotel location makes that possible. So you get ahead of the queues before the tourists arrive, you get to explore Venice at dusk, dawn and at odd hours, without too many people.

VALUE OF MONEY 88/100
Considering the location, facilities and friendly service, the price is good for a short stay. A longer stay would be really costly.

Buffet breakfasts were wonderful, quite a choice of pastries and sandwiches. Reception was very helpful especially when my brother needed to contact me. Staff were excellent as the rooms were cleaned and the towels were replenished daily. Nice little touches like the brocade linens, Murano glass bedside lamp, etc.

The common areas such as the hallways and the staircases were tight even for my Asian size and height. This can spell a bit of maneuvering especially with large luggages.

A minor bit, they couldn't fix the shower door during my stay. I was concerned because the heavy glass encasing derails as it slides to close.

I had a small, clean, well-equipped room on an upper floor with a courtyard view. After just arriving in Italy for the first time, it was great to open up the shutters to let in the sound of the church bells and to look out over beautiful Venice. It's a charming little place, with flowers in all the window boxes. The staff was friendly, breakfast was nice, location was perfect...what more could you ask for? I would return.

Room Tip: Request a courtyard view!

This is a small but well appointed hotel, very conveniently located in a little quiet courtyard right in the centre of Venice, 2 mins from St Marks and 2min from the Rialto bridge. Turn right at the Armani shop!

If you want a good quality boutique style hotel , with 4* accommodation, very friendly attentive staff, traditional breakfast in the centre of Venice look no further !

Room Tip: Because it is in a quite courtyard it is a little difficult to find when you first arrive, but from...

Quiet hotel away from the hustle of Venice, yet situated in the middle of all the happenings. Convenient to all major sites and well tucked away to give you a romantic feel. Staff is friendly and extremely helpful. Breakfast is wonderful. Room was clean with plenty of closet space. Lift was most helpful after walking through Venice with luggage.

This was our second visit to the Hotel in the past two years. It's an incredible bargain in an expensive city for lodging and conveniently located. Very helpful desk and they provide a great breakfast as well.

The initial negatives became positives for this hotel. Initially I thought I needed a hotel on the cannel in order to fully appreciate Venice. After some day site seeing planning and keeping in mind that you walk to everything a central location became more important. This hotel could not be in a better location. I read a lot of reviews complaining about the difficulty in finding this hotel. With a little virtual web walking on Google Maps before arrival I was able to walk from the taxi drop-off near the Rialto bridge to the door of the hotel without even looking at a map. The fact that hotel is tucked back in a court yard off a lesser traveled alley keeps the masses of tourist away along with the noise and general chaos. The hotel general spaces are small but the attention to your comfort by the staff is large. I highly recommend a stay here.

Tucked away in a courtyard, far from the madding crowd, and yet so close to San Marco Square, Rialto Bridge and Hard Rock Café!
The most friendly receptionist, who answered our questions and was so helpful and friendly. Room was clean, fresh and comfortable and there was a lift ...and best of all, was the most delicious breakfast with a huge variety of food options included in the room price. The hotel made our visit to Venice, so much more memorable and we will return!
