Stayed 4 nights at the end of November as a surprise for my husband's birthday. From the welcome on arrival, followed by complimentary Prosecco and birthday greetings, the attention to detail and high standards of this hotel were exemplary. All staff were helpful and courteous, breakfast was generous and varied (fresh fruit, muesli, cereals, yoghurts, different pastries and cakes each day, various breads, cold meats and cheese, bacon and various eggs) and served with spotless tablecloths and fresh flowers. The position on the Grand Canal is delightful and the location in Dorsodouro ideal - near enough to walk or hop on the vaporetto to explore key sights, but Dorsodouro is charming and quiet with good places to eat. recommended by the hotel (we especially liked Enoteca Ai Artisti). We would certainly return to this hotel, and although we were lucky with sunny, though chilly weather, would recommend Venice at this time of the year.
