“Good pizza and terrible service”
Reviewed 23 April 2014 via mobile

OK for a quick eat, pizzas are nice, very touristy place, service is terrible and forget about the wine. Don't expect this to be your great italian culinary experience - definitely a lot better places in this area.

“Enjoy while you can...”
Reviewed 19 April 2014 via mobile

This is Easter and Venice is inundated with tourists; some take advantage of it. We came twice begging for a table (not that this restaurant particularly stands out but it has ok reviews and we happened to be nearby) but we miserably failed, and in the end we got the (implicit) message from the rude female staff loud & clear: "we don't need you". You are warned. Hence our recommendation to these people: enjoy while you can...

“over rated”
Reviewed 14 April 2014 via mobile

this place was bustling when we passed by. we inquired about a table and they encouraged us to not bother waiting.. we insisted on waiting because we were hungry and tired of walking around. a half hour later we were seated.. no one came to the table for 15 minutes, then they were out of several of the entrees
the staff was curt, and the food was ok... nothing special at all...too many lovely places in venice who would appreciate your business...go elsewhere...this is the first time i am writing on trip advisor and i travel alot..but this place was so rude i just had to post.

“Great food and fun”
Reviewed 30 March 2014 via mobile

Really nice, uncomplicated food, fantastic value. Easily the best meal I had in Venice. I recommend the gnocchi, squid ink pasta, house prosecco, veal, beef fillet, and the torte alla nonna. The place has a great atmosphere in the evenings. Best value place in Venice.

“Good place away from the tourist stream”
Reviewed 26 February 2014

Good place away from the touristy streams. The menu is varied and the food is good and authentic (we're Italian and pretty spoiled!). The atmosphere is very Venetian, you can eat outside in a lovely green patio facing a canal or inside in an old, rustic and charming "osteria-type" room. The prices are absolutely reasonable, considering that it's Venezia! It's only 5 minutes walk from Rialto.
