Everything about this small restaurant suggests and delivers quality; restrained and understated but superb. We arrived at 6.55 for a 7pm reservation and the roll-down door was not quite open. No matter, I pushed it up and we were greeted in a friendly and professional manner. From then on perfection: bacalà mantecato with white polenta, with grilled squid to follow. My wife had Venetian style tuna in an onion sauce. Our impeccable waiter recommended Malvasia Borgo del Tiglio Collio from Friuli, sheer nectar.
€155 for two; not cheap but worth every cent.
