I have been lucky enough to have travelled the world across all continents over the past 25 years. I have stayed in top hotels and resorts as well as luxury apartments and penthouses. This time along was certainly one of the best experiences ever. Venice comes highly referenced however until you experience it yourselves you'll never know what you are going to get. We picked Ca Terese amongst thousands of available rentals and have to say that we won the Lotto! It was an absolute pleasure to deal with the owners themselves, Igor and Nathalie certainly expert in hosting and making a guest feel like they would be in their own home. They have assisted us in every little detail and demand. The apartment is being fully refurbished, it is spacious and well furnished throughout. It is centrally located yet in a quite area facing the oldest church in Venice (Amazing feeling!!!). Easily accessible to San Marco square and San Zaccaria. Supermarkets are close by and the nearby areas are filled with bars and restaurants where we often sat and enjoyed great food and the famous Bellins watching the romantic gondolas passing by....(We clearly felt as we were in a movie form the 60's)However it must be said that being a food lover I do enjoy cooking and Ca Terese does provide the ultimate cooking range which comes fully equipped. Rooms are spacious and luminous and very important to mention the level of cleanliness are as good as in a 5 star luxury hotel. The location and the level of the apartment makes it the perfect choice for families and couples alike. We will return again as we have now found our home in Venice. Thank you Igor and Nathalie will be seeing you again soon hopefully this coming 2016 Festive Seasons!!
Every year my husband and I arrange a surprise trip, this year was his turn. I only found out about where we were going while at the airport, upon check-in of luggage.
The unit was clean, nicely furnished and had all the amenities we needed. Just like honeymoon all over. Location couldn't be better!! Next year will be my turn and is sooo hard to top this place!
For a first time in Venice, it was the perfect accommodation for us. Very nice decor, well lit and spacious. The host will answer all queries on time, and is very helpful and courteous. We traveled with our 3 year old son and it was just the right place! We loved Venice and staying away from the crowd was simply great. Some lovely shops and restaurants close by. We will definitely return one day
It was our first visit to Venice and we found out about this place via a friend. We highly recommend. Comfortable, well maintained, the apartment is near restaurants and many activities. We shall come back !
This was not our first stay in Venice. On our first trip a few years ago, we rented near San Marco square: busy and noisy. This time around, we knew better: wherever you stay in Venice you’re going to spend a lot of time walking, so might as well select a nicer place, away from the crowds. This apartment was just what we were looking for: we could enjoy a nice stroll, found shops, bars & a nice pizza place nearby, and still be in the centre in a few minutes (there’s a vaporetto stop close by).
The apartment itself was pleasant. Kitchen seemed well equipped – though we only used it for breakfast. Bed was comfortable, wifi connection was good.
Check in was easy. The owner was nice and had good advice for visits and places to eat.
Very satisfied overall, we’ll be back as soon as we have a chance!
We stayed here during our Europe tour and found this place on trip advisor for Venice. Beautiful and quaint and lovely hosts. Comfortable bedding and bathroom arrangements. Venice as a city offered a lot to the tourists in us and it always felt good to come back to this home away from home for the 3 nights we spent there. Good internet access as well and this was a plus. Will most certainly return to Venice in the future and would definitely stay here again.
The apartment was quite large. The kids loved their small bedroom, I loved the living area and the open kitchen. We ate there most evenings, and found everything we needed in the kitchen. There is a market close by, but also some restaurants, had we decided to eat out more often - but travelling with kids, it's usually easier to stay home for dinner.
We did enjoy beautiful evening strolls along the nearby canals, visited the oldest Venetian church just across the canal. The area is very peaceful (a much needed break after the hussle and busstle of the city center!)
We have already recommended the apartment to our friends, and hope to return ourselves... one day...
