We have had a wonderful weeks holiday at The Bagolina Apartment. It's called a B&B, but it's not, it's actually a proper hotel with a couple of self catering apartments for guests that like their independence. it even has a lift. It's been beautifully renovated and decorated, and had very comfortable beds, brilliant shower and a well equipped kitchenette. There is a lovely courtyard that guests can use, or dine in. We loved the location, there are some lovely walks along the river bank, local restaurants and cafes are cheaper too because it's 10 minutes from the centre. It is only a ten minute bus journey into the centre of Verona. We had day trips to Venice, the winery's, Dolomites, Lake Garda, Manitova and Sirmione was lovely, and we ate at 2 excellent restaurants both a short walk away, The Trattoria and Dolce Gusto.
2 great cafes were directly accross the road, great for a glass of wine or a coffee or light lunch.
Elena, the owner is very helpful and nothing is too much trouble for her.

Room Tip: I would ask for a room overlooking the lovely courtyard.

When I originally booked this B&B I thought we would be driving so it probably would have been much more convenient that way. It was a little bit of a ride from the train station, but not too far away. Elena, the owner of the B&B was very helpful and friendly. Our room was spacious and comfortable. And the shower was great! It did not flood the whole bathroom like so many of the others did in Italy. There was a courtyard area where breakfast was served in the morning.

I originally pictured this B&B to be located on the countryside with a nice view of the land. Probably just my own misconception, but it was actually located in a very nice suburb of Verona called Perona. The bus stop was just across the street so it was easy enough to get into town, but a bit difficult to figure out where to get out. On the way home our cab driver could not find the place and drove around in circles until he called Elena.

I just can't seem to get over the location on this one.....too far from the city. Once we were in for the night we were rather isolated. Also, the "free internet" did not extend to inside our rooms. But if you have a car or don't mind a long bus ride, this is a nice place to stay.

Thanks again to tripadvisor another fabulous accomodation, a little bit out of the center of Verona but still very easy to access. This loverly B&B is modern with every facility whilst still holding a wonderful charm from its past. The owner and host Elena was so attentive to our needs and provided us daily with tips and advise on our plans and also on wonderful local restaurants to dine at. The breakfasts were a treat and a great start to each day. We found this to be a great accommodation for Verona and would recommend it as an ideal place to stay.

Granted this place is slightly out of the centre of Verona but its just wonderful. The woman who owns this establishment and I apologise but I can't remember her name is very helpful, kind and always smiling. The room we had was overlooking the courtyard where you have breakfast. It was really smart, all very 'white company' if people know what I mean. The bathroom was great, spacious and a powerful shower. The breakfast was delicious, a mix of cereals, fresh fruit and pastries. If you don't want to be slap bang in the middle of Verona and be in a quite area within walking distance of Verona down the river this is the place to go! Also a little tip, there is a Deli opposite the B+B which does brilliant lunches and amazing coffee!

Room Tip: Room overlooking courtyard is great!

We spent four nights from 26th June at the Bagolina. It was perfect. Our host Elena was very helpful, spoke excellent english and our breakfasts delicious. The B&B was stylish but informal and the atmosphere very relaxing. We would certainly recommend this to all our friends and family.

Room Tip: overlooking the courtyard would be best

My husband and I had a one night stay at Bagolina B & B in mid June- and a very pleasant stay at that! The outside is very unassuming, but our room was most comfortable and clean, with a lovely view of the courtyard below. Elena, a charming host made us feel most comfortable, and provided an adequate breakfast before our long journey that day. Perona is an ideal place to stay if you have a car, only 10 minutes by car to Verona, and close to Lake Garda. There is a little gem of a restaurant recommended by Elena, local restaurant Trattoria dal Taio - one of our favourite dinners on our trip to Italy.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Parona. The location was terrific, a very short drive into Verona and steps away from the Valpolicella wine region and all of the wonderful winery tours possible. We found it with no difficulty at all.
Elena is a wonderful hostess who really makes an effort to ensure her guests are looked after.
The building is totally renovated with careful attention to detail and finish. The courtyard was a nice and relaxing. The breakfast was wonderful with fresh fruit, cheeses, meats and bread.

Elena arranged a most interesting tour of a local winery, Chesini, where we received a real introduction to the wine making process.
Elena made a terrific dinner recommendations to a local Trattoria which exceeded all expectations. You must go there.

Room Tip: The rooms looking onto the courtyard are quieter.
