this hotel is too close to the historical center of Verona.
there are only 3 rooms for staying. No staff. only neighbors. landlady Silvia is very friendly and careful like mother.
b&b is situated in a home on the 4th floor (like apartment)
there are different maps and business cards of best restaurants of Verona.
there is a lift.
the room is very big.
bed is very comfortable.
Big wardrobe.
good hair dryer.
all shower staff are there (including bathrobes:))
the view from all windows is perfect.

"-"
the price (in september) is too high.
very far from the train station (aprox.10 minuties on foot to bus stop and then 20 minuties by bus (1,5 euro), by taxi aprox. 15 minuties and around 20 euro to train station and 50 euro to airport Verona).
i don't like such breakfast, when you can't choose what you want to eat.

We stayed at the B&B 2 nights with our baby. Silvia is a wonderful host, she is warm and nice and caring! The location is great and the breakfast is perfect. The room the the shower were extremely clean. However, the floor was a bit squeaky, and the towels a bit coarse, and those were found to be important when you are with a baby... Despite this, we came back for one more night at the end of our trip, and we were happy to do so.

Room Tip: Choose the room with the showers inside.

Fantastic location, on a hill overlooking Verona. About a 20 min walk to the arena but lots of restaurants and bars on the way. Some excellent recommendations of places to eat that were spot on. Great food and service. Comments on the traffic noise are accurate but hey it's an Italian city and we didn't have any problems sleeping.

I have come to the conclusion that, where B&Bs are concerned, because of the personal relation that is created with the owner, TA reviewers tend to give a 5/5, provided everything was just about ok. This is then repeated over and over again and one ends up with establishments that at most could be considered as good receiving "certificates of excellence" and so on. The point is that there are some truly outstanding B&Bs out there (see my review of Antica Residenza d'Azeglio in Bologna) and it is difficult to distinguish them out from the more ordinary places.

In this case, the rating on TA did cause us some disappointment: this B&B is overall quite good, but really no better or worse than dozens of other similar places.

The location is very good, but if you are reading this, it is probably because you already made that out by yourself, using the interactive map. We were greeted by the hostess who gave us the local information in a competent and professional way. The room was large, and perfectly clean. The bedding was second rate and the traffic is quite noisy so sleep quality is not the best. There was an aircon unit in the room, but when switched on, it emitted a blue light so bright you could almost read a book by it. The only way to avoid this inconvenience was to switch it off altogether which, in August, implied opening the windows and increasing the noise level. The breakfast was what you expect in a B&B, with fruit, bread and freshly cooked eggs, a very decent cup of coffee, and the awful tang orange juice that seems to be on offer even in the best Italian hotels.

Verona is a truly wonderful city and you must absolutely not miss it when visiting Italy. This B&B is not a bad option, but I would probably shop around to see what hotel deals are available before choosing to return here.

The service has been outstanding, food excellent, the rooms and cleanliness super. The location is good with a good view of the city. Our room had a spectacular view of the Castle San Pietro and surroundings.
grazie Silvia!

This was a fabulous bed and breakfast. Just across the river from the Old Town, it is on the fourth floor of an appartment/office building. The view from our room and the breakfast room across Verona is superb. Sylvia is a wonderful hostess and the breakfast was indeed excellent. We were very pleased to have air conditioning as well as a more environmentally friendly fan, as the weather was very hot while we were there. There is a Verona bike stand close by at the Ponte Pietra, and a couple of nice places to eat close by. It is about half an hours walk from the Arena - we plan to return! Thank you Silvia!

Unfortunately we were only here for one night but it was a good experience. We were warmly welcomed by Lucrezia and were really pleased with the accommodation. Our room was huge and airy and recently decorated I think. We had a fridge, a TV and free WiFi. The bed was comfortable and our private bathroom across the hall was equally bright and spacious. The view from the breakfast room is astounding. Sadly we didn't really do justice to breakfast (sorry Lucrezia) as we'd had a late night at the opera and then an early morning so our appetites were not what they usually are. There was a nice selection of breads though, yoghurt followed by pizza and strudel. We were offered eggs as well.

The location is superb, about five minutes walk to the Ponte Pietra and into the old centre - about 15-20 mins to the Piazza Bra. The B&B is not obvious from the outside because it is part of a residential building - we spent a little while walking up and down the street trying to find it - but once you're in its very nice indeed and there's even an elevator which is very useful to get your cases up to the fourth floor. We would certainly stay here again if we return to Verona.
