There is a fun walk-in spot where you can climb some stairs (not recommended for people who are afraid of heights) and have an awesome view.
Not necessary to climb as you can just walk through and they have a few big 'windows' built in for the people who dont wanna climb.

Past Castelvecchio, is the bridge over the river, Ponte Scaligero. Its made of the same stones as the original castle and is a beautiful arching bridge where you can climb up the side of the kerbs and walking along the stone walls and peeking through the holes to see the river. Once you reach the middle of the bridge you can look through a large port hole and take in the fantastic view of Verona and the buildings along the rivers for a nice photo. It is truly a romantic moment to be with your loved ones.

Historic; presents great views of the river Adige and a number of other bridges; gives an outside perspective of Castelvecchio (Museum). Photographers will appreciate.

Knowing that this is a complete twentieth century rebuild rather takes the shine off. However, if you didn't know, it all seems authentic. Plenty of people about but even then there are those sitting reading apparently without being distracted. Good view from the bridge of the quick flowing river and the next bridge down. You will have to find a spot on the banks to get a good picture, but there is a good place in the open area around the rather fine Arco Dei Gavi on the eastern side. If you walk through the museum grounds first it seems to set the context of what it might have been like for those walking around centuries ago.

This is a great place to take some pictures of the city along the river and with the castle in the background.
