We arrived on Saturday afternoon and were able to find parking on the street which was paid until 8pm and then free after that which saved the cost of 20 euros for the hotel parking. Parking is free on Sunday so that worked well for us.

We were in the hotel annex a few door away. It had some nice design features, beautiful bathroom with all singing and dancing shower, electric blinds which you can operate from bed. Our room was large with a little kitchen, dining table, sofa and balcony. We were facing the fstreet which was only noisy when the bin men came to remove the rubbish/garbage at 5.00am. Bed was hard for me but my husband slept fine. A choice of pillows would be useful.

The location of the hotel was good for visiting the city. We went to an opera in the Arena which finished late so it was nice to be close by for walking back.

Breakfast is served in a basement dining room. It was very crowded at the time when we arrived and although we managed to find a table, it was a little confusing with so many people trying to serve themselves and not sure where things were.

All the hotels in the city were expensive at that time, but we did pay a lot more than we did the night before for a really nice hotel.

This morning the song Blue Velvet was playing when I entered the dining room for breakfast. The breakfast buffet is quite excellent with all sorts of delicious breads, meats, eggs, cakes, fruits, and any form of coffee or tea you could want. Besides the breakfast the hotel is quite clean. Our room was large and comfortable, especially since Verona was hot and our room was nicely air conditioned. The lobby is small and a bit drab but check in went quickly and the staff has been helpful. This hotel is not a luxury hotel but it is perfectly serviceable.

Helpful, professional and courteous staff (both Reception and Cleaning). Close to Historic Centre & railway station. Our room (or should I say rooms) was modern, clean, comfortable, extremely quiet, in a separate building, facing the back. Expecting a triple room but were given an apartment with our own cooking facilities and a partition wall between two bedrooms. Breakfast was fantastic, the choices were too numerous to mention, both hot and cold, great selection of fresh melons. Welcome chocolate on arrival. Outstanding and would definitely recommend. Wouldn't hesitate to return.

Room Tip: As for a quiet room as we did, and you may just be lucky enough to stay in the separate building facing a very quiet part of town.

My husband and I would definately stay here again. We decided to stay overnight in Verona because we had booked tickets for Turandot. Reception service excellent. Room and bathroom great size. Tea and coffee making facilities. Very clean. 10 minute walk from Arena.

We spent only one night in this hotel, but were very impressed with the quality for a the price. The room is comfortable and clean, the bathroom likewise.

Location is great, with an easy walk (8 minutes) to the railway station in the morning, while the arena, Juliettes house and the shopping and restaurant areas similary close in the other direction.

I will stay again when next in Verona.
