“excellent hotel for business and city trips”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 August 2012

located by the Fiera spot but very close to city centre, this hotel has a nice design outside and inside. Room is very comfortable much more than other Crown Plaza we have been before; furniture is design, new, lighting complete (even little blue light for bathroom, so you don't need to switch on during nightime if necessary, so you don't wake up your partner). I have to mention special positive remark about the bedding, so comfortable: i slept there two so good nights with their aromatic "sleep well" offered product. The spa (free with turkish bath, sauna, pool) is clean, and nice. breakfast was very correct and all the service (ckeckin, out and breakfastroom) is nice too, despite the rush of groups. You can park for free just in front of the hotel (safely) and it's take you ten minutes from the hotel to the historical centre (just 2 parkings underground and fresh nearby, same price as taking a taxi). of course, if you don't have car to join this hotel, you need a taxi service! they have a free shuttle, but we didn't need it, so don't have opinion about it. It's a real 4* hotel, but we regret that the design of the lobby don't look cosy and luxous, it's just a narrow place, look like a 3* lounge.

Good hotel. Located a bit far from the city center, but they offer shuttles a few times a day.
Location is not that inconvenient, and there's a sky bar on the roof, with a huge terrace open to all the guests, and chairs, terrific iew overseeing the city and the valley of Verona. where is located as well the gym and a topnotch spa, well deserved after a long day walking in the streets of Verona.

If you dont have a car to shuttle back and forth, might be a problem. But very quiet location, and excellent service. We didnt try the restaurant. But overall deserves its 4*, I would recommend it specially to Spa lovers (you can sit in the pool and watch the hills of Verona!)

We spent one week in Crowne Plaza Verona and we felt at home. This is a new , modern and very nice hotel. The staff are polite , smiling , helping and they can not be better. The rooms are clean and well decorated and equipped. Breakfast is generous. The restaurant design is beautiful and modern. It is relaxing and clean !! We are grateful to that hotel !!! Hope to come back.

Have just returned from a long stay (6 nights) at this hotel and cannot fault it. Rooms were great with modern amenities (incl. blackout blinds/Air Conditioning that works!). The service from all the staff was superb throughout our stay. We had a 2 year old and the staff were very friendly and provided a glass of milk to her every night! We didn't have breakfast in our rate and at 18EUR per person, we decided to go to the coffee shop next door for our breakfast needs. Free parking can be found at front of hotel although the hotel stress it's not covered by their security cameras but we didn't have any problems and it felt safe in the area despite it's isolation from any residential areas. Had a couple of evening meals and the food quality was very good, price wise was in comparison to eating at a City Centre restaurant so was good value for money. Good fitness area/swimming pool on the top floor.
As per previous comment, I was also here during the all afternoon/evening party on the roof. The noise did travel when we were outside but from our room, it was very well soundproofed so didn't affect us at all. We drove into Verona when we needed to as we wanted to be flexible to our return rather than use the shuttle bus which runs to a schedule.
If returning to Verona with a car, this would be top of our list.

Outside of the rush of the city, free parking during holidays I suppose. Rooms are clean, comfortable, staff is just perfect and breakfast is excellent.

But one, they charge 15euro for Internet access for PCs/Macs and 9euro for iPhone/iPad/mobile devices... As we are a connected family of 4 people (1 BB, 1 Galaxy, 1 iPhone, 1 Windows Phone, 2 PCs) let's imagine what beeing hooked on the Internet would cost here :(

For a long weekend where we wanted to visit Verona, Venice and some other places, we decided to stay in this property. It is quite new, well kept-up and it is in the commercial expo area - it is sort of an anonymous area and it is about 2-3 km (?) away from the old town of Verona. Walking to the old city is not really in the cards, so if you drive around with a car, want to be not too far away from the highway intersection and enjoy a nice sleep then this is your place.

Room Tip: Rooms to the west overlook a soccer/football field - on the weekend this is a quiet/dead area - not...

This was my first time to stay in this Hotel in Verona - it is about a year old and not to be confused with the Holiday Inn - just down the motorway - which is a little tired - this Hotel is not - a very smart 9 level building - modern and with nice friendly staff and a very clean , image, in a part of the city that is trying to re invent its self - plenty of parking , nice decor and swipe cards operate everything ! - I have to return to Verona in May next year and have already booked another stay - The beds are the most comfortable - a very very nice place to stay ! and yet you can drive down town in 5 mins - excellent

Room Tip: Go for a Business room
