We stayed one night at B&B Santo Stefano in the Elite Room and WISHED we had stayed longer. Upon arriving, we didn't realize that the B&B was located on a corner of a major street, so we were very nervous. However, once we met Luca and were taken to our room on the top floor, all our nerves were instantly calmed. Luca is such a great host and explained everything in the room, from the light controls, air conditioning, and the sound proof shutters which darken the room and keep ALL the noise out. The room has EVERYTHING you need and more, including the best linens (towels in particular). In addition, the room was immaculately clean, one of the cleanest places we stayed in all of Italy. The bed was the most comfortable ever as it is memory foam. Breakfast is served in-room at the time of your choosing and was a lot of food with a nice selection of meat, bread, and fruit. And you can't beat the location of the B&B located just across the Ponte Della Pietra bridge and only a 5 minute walk to the center of town. Luca gave us an EXCELLENT recommendation for dinner and made the reservations for us. We even saw him eating at the restaurant that night and he greeted us at our table. We can't say enough great things about this B&B. Stop looking and just stay here! Luca will welcome you as a friend and make you want to visit again and again!
