Very well located, Half way (about 300 m) from The Arena ( Plaza Bra) and Plaza Erbe.
Excellent service and very clean. Great breakfast!
Quiet room.
During the day, untill 5 PM they have free drinks and snack in a nice living room, including champagne.

Room Tip: The room wasn´t very big, but good size. From the window you can see a quiet little street, and from the other window a medieval church. I loved hearing the bells...It was very quiet.

We have just returned from a five night stay at the Accademia in Verona. We booked a package holiday with Cresta Holidays with flights from Gatwick to Verona. We wanted to stay in Verona and have a day in Venice (to see if we liked Venice enough to stay there for a complete holiday in the future - yes we do). We arrived at the hotel just after lunch and were able to check in straightaway. Excellent welcome from staff in reception, porter to open door and take luggage to the room. The service was superb throughout out stay; efficient and friendly. The hotel is a delight: High quality furnishings and many antiques. The library is a lovely room with a selection of highest quality art books to browse. Our room was right at the back of the hotel (room 261) and it was quite a walk from the lift. However, it was a corner room with shuttered windows overlooking the narrow street around the back of the hotel. The street outside the front of the hotel was very busy at night (but pedestrianised) and we appreciated our room being quiet. The bathroom was very good with a huge walk in shower with a power shower and a built in marble seat. Bed comfortable, husband did not find the pillows to his liking (they were memory foam), but that is a matter of choice. Our only issue with the room was the lack of tea/coffee making facility, but we knew that before we booked and have found it is not general in Italy. However, after breakfast finished at 10:30 there was "second breakfast" which was self service drinks and cakes/biscuits and after 12:30 there were cold drinks and biscuits in the Library.

Free WiFi throughout and state of the art touchscreen PCs free to use in the lobby area.

Location of the hotel was superb; right on the elegant Mazzini pedestrianised shopping street and only a short walk from the Piazza d'Erbe and the Piazza Bra (the two main squares in the old city). Many restaurants/cafes all around.

Breakfast was a buffet with some hot dishes; good for Italy and in a very elegant room with impeccable service.

We did not use the hotel restaurant at night - we prefer something more casual!

We are unlikely to return to Verona as we were only using it as a base for Venice/Lake Garda but it is a beautiful town and we would happily return to the Accademia if we did ever visit Verona again.

Excellent position for the city and convenient for the coliseum for the opera. Especially useful when one has to make a hasty retreat from the coliseum due to the rain! Free wi-fi throughout the hotel . Comfortable large beds. The hotel is in the centre of the old town and thus there are many good restaurants within five to ten minutes walk. As hotel is in one way system by taxi costs about fifteen Euros to the station and ten Euros to return . Expensive during the opera season but well worth it because of it's location

Seriously this is the best place to stay. We stayed for 2 nights. Group of 10 people. We shared photos of our rooms. I'd recommend 380 and 362 as two very good options. Bigger rooms with extra seating areas. Wonderful breakfast spread including eggs and sausage, cereals and Prosecco. Deluxe bathroom amenities and shower with strong power. Lobby is very warm. Good free wifi in my room. Would definitely stay there again!
