Our family of 4 had a brief, last minute stay in Verona. The staff was great and the room was well sized and comfortable. It was a terrific breakfast, which was a nice surprise. The location is really fantastic for navigating the city,
especially for a short stay. Shopping and historic sights a short walk.

If you want to be close to all the historical attractions of Verona or visiting the Arena for the opera then this is the hotel for you. This hotel offers a high standard of service without being stuffy to it's guest. The breakfast is varied although I will say the bacon is more for European tastes rather than the British taste.
One nice touch is the welcome drink held every day between 1:00pm till 5:00pm where you can have a free glass of prosecco or ice cold mineral water.
Would I stay here again? Yes without question.

Dear Tempest14,
glad to read, you enjoyed your stay at Hotel Accademia. We are looking forward to welcome you again, maybe for the Christmas Markets to breath the Veronese Christmas spirit and then enjoy a cup of hot tea with us from the winter season welcome drink.

Great location with easy access to centre of Verona. Friendly and helpful reception. Hotel is clean and well maintained. Room average size but comfy although TV was tiny. I had a room overlooking an inner courtyard which had double glazing and was quiet except for noisy neighbours coming and going. Bright bathroom with excellent shower. Long corridors but made more accessible by use of mirrors. Excellent breakfast with vast buffet. No other meals but if you only want a snack in the evening you could stock up on nibbles from the bar. Lots of nearby restaurants within walking distance, I found the Osteria Dal Cavaliere just around the corner was OK. Around €26 taxi from the airport. Good free wifi.

This is a lovely hotel, very conveniently located for Verona's lovely old city sights and just off the Via Mazzini, with its marble pavements and designer shops.
Our room was nice and large and very well appointed, including electrically operated shutters - a first for me in a hotel! We lay in bed operating the switch and saying 'night' . . . . . 'day' to each other for a laugh.
The staffing levels seem high and each member of staff was very attentive to our needs.
Good breakfast - smashing smoked salmon and scrambled egg.
Highly recommended.
N.B. No restaurant for dining but that doesn't really matter - there are hundreds in Verona.

The hotel is of a very high standard, spotlessly clean and the rooms are once again of a very high standard.

The breakfast was very good, unfortunately the restaurant is no longer open of an evening.

We had a Superior Double Deluxe which lived up to the description, all the staff are so helpful and friendly, special thanks to Giovanni and his colleagues on reception.

Room tip: Choose a Superior Double if possible
