I chose this hotel as it was near the train station and it took less than 10 minutes to find the hotel. We arrived at 1pm and were told the room wouldn't be ready for an hour. We were offered a lunch & transport to the opera deal, but as we weren't hungry we declined. There was an outside area, which was quite pleasant, where we sat to wait for our room. Strangely, someone came out and asked us if we wanted a drink, but then told us the bar was shut. We got some drinks from the vending machine.
The room was a triple, just enough room for the three of us, although it would have been difficult if we had been staying more than one night. The bathroom was surprisingly nice, large with plenty of shelf space and new-looking fittings.
We walked into the city, which was slightly confusing, as there is a large main road to negotiate and a green area, and it wasn't that obvious which way to go.
The bed was comfortable, it was nice to have air-con, and it wasn't noisy.
Breakfast was okay, very little fresh food, and many items ran out.
The hotel was okay, I know it advertises itself as a budget option, but at 165 euros for a triple room it wasn't exactly cheap. If I went to Verona again I think I would stay further into the city, the hotel is very basic and it's in a boring part of town.

Dear guest, thank for your positive review.
Our prices are always good compared with the prices of other hotels in Verona, but August is very high season so the price cannot be low as in other periods of the year.

Tremendous value and convenience. Paid hotel or free ( safe- looking, we used it) street parking. Quiet location, quiet a/c too! Beds firm, but room and bathroom very neat and clean. We chose the breakfast option, good also. 15 to 20 minutes of walking takes you to the arena/plaza area of Verona, a delightful area to explore on foot and to sit for drinks or food. We give the Martini a big thumbs up!

We stayed for 1 night because we were making a tour round Italian cities. I would say it was the best hotel on our way. The breakfast was delicious. The receptionist gave us convenient rooms.
The only strange about it were the curious passers-by who tried to peer into the windows (we were on the 2nd floor \ on the 1st floor above the lounge) Maybe it runs in the city...

Thank you very much dear guests for your very high rating!
I'm sorry but I can't understand the story that you told... If your room was at the 1st floor (lounge is at groud floor) windows are located 4 meters from the road. No one can look inside to 4 meters in height.

Standard double room(twin beds shoved together) but was clean & spacious with working air conditioning. Bathroom fine but shower was very small. We found the staff very unfriendly and mildly aggressive.

Dear Guest,
we are a simple 3 stars budget Hotel, what makes us special it is our very good value for money and the cleanliness of our rooms, so you are right: to be normal it is what makes us special.
But please: how can you tell that we are unfriendly and even 'mildly aggressive'?
Come on, are you joking? Have you seen our reviews? Do you think that if we were 'agressive' guests would be happy about us?
We accept every constructive criticism and any suggestions, but please, don't write rubbish just to write something, because this is our job and our life and just a single word written here can affect the lives of so many people.

Enjoyed 3 nights in mid June on the 3rd floor with nice breeze coming from the nearby channel, coming from the Alps. Clean rooms, free WiFi.Very close to the train/bus station. Beautiful buffet in the morning. After the good sleep and good breakfast it is perfect to walk to the central part of the city. It take's about 10-15 minutes. In general, it is worth for the money. We'll be back again
next year.

Room Tip: 3rd floor, room 301

We got a room at the first floor and soon we found bugs on the floor. We asked to change room and got the one next door. That one also had bugs. Then we saw them crawling in the corridor outside and we changed room once again, still on the same floor. The fourth time we got a room on another floor and it was bug free. We had left our passports for "registration" and the next morning when we asked for them back they had lost them! The girl working there did her best to find them and when we returned after a walk they had found them.

Dear guest,
what you have found in the rooms were not 'bugs', there were just some common ants. Anyone can recognize a ant, so I think it is better to call things with their name, don't you? Ants are very clean and harmless insects and sometimes we find someone in our room cause, as you as surely seen, we are very close to a big pinewood. We consider a fortune to have a great park and scent of pine trees under the windows of our rooms rather than a busy street and smell of pollution. If this involves the visit of some ant we are willing to bear it. In the end, it takes very little to get rid of the ants and they did not even write negative reviews...
About passports... You wanted to change rooms so many times in such a short time that we ended up putting them in the wrong box. 5 minutes and were found.

Thank you very much dear guest!
You have had really a wonderful idea to use our Hotel as 'base camp' for excursions to lake garda, we also like to suggest this solution to our guests!
Our Hotel it is just 1,5 km from the Arena di Verona, easy reachable in 15 minutes walking unhurriedly. How did you take 30 minutes to get there? You probably took the wrong road... :-)
Thank you!
