The hotel was on the outskirts of the city and they had sent us very easy-to-follow directions of how to get there via public transport. Just the airport shuttle bus to the railway station and then another bus (number 11) to the hotel. The hotel receptionist was very nice and helpful. The entrance itself was lovely with a big piano but it was a shame we never saw anyone playing it. The room had a hude bed in it, large bathroom and TV, which we didn't really watch as we were out all day but there was only CNN in English and TVE1 in Spanish. I think the rest of the other 12 channels were in Italian, which seemed a bit poor for a four star hotel. Still, it was clean, warm and we slept well. It's in a reesidential neighbourhood and only takes 20 minutes maximum to walk into the centre of the city. On the way there are some lovely squares to stop off at and have a drink.
