I have just returned from a trip with my son to this stunning gem of a hotel. Everyone was so friendly and warm. The hotel is easily accessible for someone older and everyone is one step ahead in assisting.

The restaurant experience was top class from breakfast to lunch to dinner, the Chef Carmine Calo has created a wonderful restaurant Borsari 36 and his restaurant manager Miguel is just so friendly. The waitresses and chef Samir cooked a wonderful midnight feast as our flight was very delayed and everyone stayed on to make sure we went to bed happy.

The attention to detail throughout is brilliant, housekeeping folded all our clothes away and left the room just perfect.

All in all this is the perfect city, hotel and place to go just to relax and everything is made so easy by the team at Palazzo Victoria.

Room Tip: If you want a sense of place ask for a street facing room.

This has to be one of the best hotel experiences in Italy. The hotel really does live it to its standard much higher and more attentive than many elsewhere in major cities in Europe. I would never have put Verona on the long weekend break list, but this stunning hotel, the culinary delights of Borsari 36 and the romance of the city combine to make this a great place to hide away and emerse in Italy.
Executive Chef Calo with the assistance of his restaurant Manager Miguel and chef Samir have created the most wonderful dining experience, which thankfully serves breakfast too and the bonus of being looked after by Fernando and Alberto in the mornings, make it even more memorable.
Everyone from the bar staff to housekeeping were so professional and friendly, the hotel is a little confusing re layout at first but its wonderful to get lost in a dreamy place like the Palazzo Victoria. I can't wait to go back and relax and then explore the shores of Lake Garda.

Room Tip: Suite 201 is the most charming suite, with a huge double spa bath

If you are visiting Old Verona, this is a perfect hotel to stay. Italian hotels can be rated quite differently from other European cities, but this hotel lived up to its grade. Very contemporary for this part of town which makes for a lovely holiday when visiting old cities. You can walk everywhere from this location. Fantastic breakfasts and great staff

Perfect location, extremely stylish, excellent, reasonably-priced cocktails (complete with a plethora of nibbles!), fantastic service, clean, chic and spacious room and an incredible breakfast. What more could you want? We absolutely loved it and wouldn't hesitate in recommending it.

What a beautiful hotel; loved the perfect melange of old and new, seen throughout the common areas. Make sure you take the time to check out the Roman ruins...

Professional service from start to finish, an ideal city centre location close to everything, and a lovely boutique hotel ambiance.

We had one of the suites which was spacious and thoughtfully decorated. The bed was super comfortable and we loved the large windows overlooking the streets of the old town. Bathroom was a good size too with an amazing jacuzzi and the gold fittings everywhere added a touch of luxury. Plenty of fluffy towels, robes, slippers, etc; the norm for a five star establishment.

Breakfast was varied and copious (we didn't have the opportunity to have dinner there or have a drink at the bar).

The only thing we would mention, if we're being a bit picky, is the overwhelming orange smell in the common areas of the hotel (reception/lobby in particular) - it was overpowering and made us feel queasy... Perhaps we have sensitive noses!

Otherwise, a fantastic stay in a fantastic hotel. Can't wait to go back!

Room Tip: Melodia Suite
