The Hotel Gardenia in Verona was just great. You can park your car inside or outside for free. The people on the reception are really friendly and helpful, even if you are having special needs or wishes. We had a comfort room for 80 Euros. The room was really spacious, clean and bright. We liked the room. The buffet breakfast was typical italian with a lot of sweet stuff, but even for people who don't like chocolate croissants there was loads of different stuff, like buns, cheese, meat, joghurt and müsli.
Close to the hotel there is a bus station. The bus Nr. 90 takes you to the center of Verona, make sure ou have 1.50 Euros in coins ready. It takes about 15-20 minutes to the arena.
In the evening the buses running no later then around eight. We had to take a taxi for around 10 Euros, that was still cheap.
Great stay, would do it again.
