I enjoyed the Hotel Mastino very much during my trip to Verona in November. I stayed one night, due to availability...but it was enjoyable. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and location can't be beat. I would definitely return!

We liked room very much. It was clean, nice, particularly the bathroom. The breakfast was good, the service perfect. The parking was excellent. It was comfortabla, that The Arena and other attractions are 2 minutes on foot. I cannot write any wrong thing,I want to return to Verona, to this hotel, because this was amazing.

Room Tip: I don't know, because I was inly in one room.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel's location is good. 5 minutes walk to the arena. The rooms are spacious and clean. If you have a car they have a private parking but make sure to reserve a spot before you check-in.

Beautiful Blue Carpet...ahem
We were in Verona for La Traviata at the Arena. We'd taken the train from Florence where we'd had a quite noisy though splendid suite in a central location, so were happy when this hotel told us we would actually be accommodated in their 'annex' across the road around the corner... As it turned out the room was well sized, clean, had all the amenity needed and was So blissfully quiet my wife was overjoyed (had suffered disturbed sleep in Firenze..whilst I slept like a log). We had a very short 5min walk to Piazza Bra & the Arena, so fundamental essentials satisfied.

ON arrival for our one night stay we were a bit worried as the reception area is not much to speak of and the male receptionist was not very helpful. We were too early to check in so left our bags and came back an hour later to check in. On coming back the two woman were very helpful and our room very nice, with a balcony overlooking the street. We did find it a bit noisy with the balcony doors open due to the McDonalds next door - especially late at night and at 6 am when the deliveries started arriving.

Room Tip: Try and get a room with a balcony

I don't understand the gripes I've read from other reviewers. We've had nothing but a great experience. We stayed in the apartment in the annex and were taken on hotel transport to the annex by a very friendly and helpful member of staff. The apartment itself was clean, spacious and well appointed. The location is superb overlooking the river. The cost of the apartment was excellent value for money. We left our car in the private hotel garage and again were assisted by the same helpful member of staff. The cost of the garage was not cheap, but this is the centre of town, so what do you expect? We would recommend it highly and if we ever come back we will definitely try to stay here again.

Room Tip: Stay in the Adige apartment

Quite good.
I spend one night only but was nice. At night, silent inside and out side.
Have near old town, buses, not far from railway station and special bus to airport.
Good breakfast. If you fell hungry - McDonnald down stairs *ha ha ha.
Near some markets if you know where looking for.

funny elevator. I was little worry I stay in that machine for night.

Room Tip: very nice rooms at 3 floor at front. Under roof, rooms with little funny windows at main street.
