I stayed in a single room which was very small but adequate for one person. The location is excellent being in the historic city center and walking distance from most sights. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, and spoke English which was also helpful. The elevator was broken during my staff and they offered to carry my luggage to the third floor. Breakfast is included and was varied. Wifi service is also included.

Thank you so much for your feedback.
About the lift, sorry again for the inconvenience: for 15 days it's been not available because we're enlarging it.. but the works, luckily, are at the end :-) In these days our colleagues are helping our guests with the luggage and do their best to make our guests' stay comfortable. Thank you for having noticed it. Thank you for all the compliments: all of us appreciate them.
We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

What a brilliant hotel! Despite going to both Milan and Venice on our trip (which are both very easy on the train) the things we ended up telling our friends most about when we got back was how impressive our hotel was. Its great location, friendly staff and lovely rooms all helped to really top off a great trip to this lovely city.

I can only confirm earlier positive reviews of the Giulietta e Romeo. My partner and I stayed last weekend and had a very positive experience. The staff were unfailingly helpful and courteous; breakfasts were excellent, if a little cramped; and the hotel is in a convenient yet quiet location, a rare combination. I would like to thank Giulio Cavara for his good management.

Room Tip: Rooms at the back may be quieter.

I was traveling with my son (who is studying abroad in Italy) and my daughter. We had booked a triple room but was offered an upgrade to a suite upon check in. It was a lovely suite with ample room for the three of us with a beautiful balcony. The front desk staff was friendly, informative, and very courteous. We enjoyed the location which was an easy walk to several piazzas and, of course, the arena. The breakfast was very good and filling for us as we took off for a day of travel on the train. I would highly recommend this hotel for its gracious ambiance, courtesy, and well appointed rooms.

Room Tip: If an upgrade to a suite is offered for 15 euro, it is a very good deal!!

We'd promised ourselves a trip to Verona to see the opera. It was one of our "must dos". Searching for an hotel I encountered this one on tripadvisor. From our first communication to the moment we checked out we had an excellent experience. The staff are so helpful both via email and in person. Breakfast was a great start to the day.

As others have said it is so convenient, just a short few minutes to the arena - a real bonus at one in the morning at the end of the performance.

We hope to return next year.

What a wonderful hotel! Great location, easy to get to everything and there is surprisingly lots to see and do here. The room we had was lovely, modern and well appointed. Breakfast was great with something for all tastes. The front desk staff was very helpful pointing out everything and arranging for a rental car for us for the day. Verona is a lovely city, thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and this hotel is where you want to stay.

Room Tip: Take a taxi from the train station...not too far but not when you are dragging suitcases. €10 fare...

Great central location. We stayed here for 2 nights whilst travelling and driving through North Italy.
One of the great things was visiting the hotel and the interval breaks for water in the Aida performance being so close.

You can also hire bikes from hotel free which is a great way to get lost in the Verona streets like my wife and I did.

Hotel is clean, comfortable too and great value for location.

Thank you for your feedback. You're right: our position is invidiable :-)
During the last Opera Season it rained twice: for both of these nights there was Aida in Arena.. our guests were lucky, in a few seconds they reached the hotel!
Thanks also for your comment about our bikes: during the warm/hot season we give them to the guests for free; we think this is an appreciated service.
So.. thank you so much for everything: we hope to welcome you again!!!
