We had a great room, onto the street so a sideways view to the Arena. Great location, we found the staff friendly, breakfast was busy but great, the coffee you order from the staff from the proper coffee machine was so nice!
Not sure why people are leaving some negatives, maybe they paid a high rate when something was on or just used to something different, but for a weekend break in Verona you could not do better.

We spent 3 nights in this centrally located hotel in Verona. Staff at the reception was very helpful, breakfast was good but I missed some proper bread (which is hard to get in Italy). The room was ok, the fan in the bath room needs some cleaning though.

Thank you for your feedback, we appreicate your words.
We are sorry to hear your note about the fan in the bathroom: the cleanliness is for us one of the most important thing, so it has to be cleaded! We immediately check all the bathrooms with the housekeeper, thank you for the note.
And sorry for the late reply to your feedaback.. I was on holiday :-)
Thank you again, come back as soon as possible!

We have stayed in this hotel before and knew what to expect. It is a very good standard but the main attraction is the location 50 metres or so from the arena. You can get more spacious or cheaper hotels in Verona but if you'd like to be next to the arena and all the restaurants surrounding it then you'd find this hotel difficult to beat. Staff are great and very helpful. Rooms are good. Serve yourself breakfast is good. Best tip: even if you don't know opera, get a ticket in the gods and see the spectacle from the same stone steps as someone who watched gladiators fight 2,000 years ago.

I was amazed to read the review by Noordwijker and wondered if he had stayed at the same hotel as we did. For the sake of clarity this is not 'fake' and I have not been 'paid'.
Our family stayed at the hotel in two rooms. Prior to arrival the hotel staff responded with alacrity to my varied requests for guides, restaurants, taxi from airport etc. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed and were very happy with our rooms. The staff had considered our family needs and placed us in adjacent rooms. We were all able to use our various devices - 4 per room with the Wifi codes.
Our rooms were quiet and we all slept very well. The standard of cleanliness in the rooms and the hotel generally was very high.
The breakfast was excellent - fresh rolls, toast and pastries, cold meats and variety of cheeses. Watermelon, pineapple and fresh fruit salad were available as were several varieties of cakes. Plus the option to cook a boiled egg. Fresh coffee and tea was at the buffet and alternative coffee (latte, espresso etc) could be ordered.
The location is superb, especially for the opera at the Arena. The hotel staff kindly asked if we needed cushions as they had a stock that they were happy to lend to hotel guests. They also had bicycles for the use of guests.
We have stayed in 5* hotels that have not offered the level of service of this hotel. The staff were exceptionally helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them.
I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to any seasoned traveller who enjoys high standards of service, cleanliness and an excellent location.

We stayed for 4 days before heading to lake garda. The hotel is in the perfect location for exploring the beautiful city. Staff are extremely helpful and welcoming and whilst the rooms are small - they had everything we needed and were spotlessly clean. Big tip - go to tourist info for opera tickets - we got them for Aida the following night and it was amazing.

Throughout the hotel all staff were very welcoming and friendly, making the stay all that enjoyable. I asked for a bouquet flowers for my wife as a surprise and they were in the room as we arrived as expected and hey were perfect. The hotel is in an ideal position, no more than two minutes from the arena making our return trip from the evening performance of Carmen very simple. Room was excellent with a jacuzzi bath which was a pleasant surprise. Peaceful comfortable sleep each of the 5 nights we were there except one when there was a thunderstorm. Would have rated the hotel 5 out of 5, but we thought the hotel was short of a lounge. There is aseating area near the reception, but a true area to relax other than your room would have been enjoyable. Also, we thought the breakfast was a bit limited in content. But, must say a very enjoyable stay and would recommend to others.

Thank you, Sirs, for the nice comment! We like it :-)
All you words about the room with the jacuzzi-bath and the staff (who were happy to help you with the romantic surprise!) make us proud of our job, so thank you.
Close to the front desk there is our hall, with some sofas, a table and an internet point. This is a quiet area where our guests could relax. And we have (maybe you didn't see it) a nice terrace always flowering: usually our guests love it :-)
We hope you decide to stay with us again and rate us 5 out of 5 :-)
Best regards,

Elisa and all the staff
