Stayed at hotel milano for two nights in July. Loved being close to the arena-we could hear the opera with the door open.

This small but beautifully formed hotel sits just seconds away from the City's main square and within easy walking distance from the other main sights. Staff were very welcoming and very helpful. Our room was small but clean and newly decorated. It was all that we needed for our four-day stay. Bathroom was modern with a oddly huge shower considering the proportions of the room itself. One big plus was that the air-con was outstanding. It provided a very welcome contrast in temperature from the blisteringly hot sun.

Breakfast was good. All the normal continental fare was on offer, which was high quality and was more than enough to set you up for the day. Wi-fi was free and I personally had no connection issues. All in all, a great little hub to explore this fantastic city.

Room Tip: The hotel is based on a side street so I'm fairly sure that the view isn't exactly great fro...

A very nice small hotel, extremely well located just off the Piazza Bra, with delightful staff who couldn't do too much to help you.
We took an "Executive" double room, which was quite a bit smaller than we'd become used to, but was nevertheless quite adequate for a couple of nights.
Well functioning air-con (which was certainly needed as temperature soared to around 35C whilst we were there).
Free wifi throughout the hotel.
Room nicely decorated and very clean, albeit somewhat cramped.
Bathroom also compact but OK, with quirky coloured lighting in well functioning rain shower.
Breakfast room was nice, with a little outside courtyard if you timed your visit right. Excellent range of breakfast foodstuffs, (fresh fruit, cut fruit, nice bacon, cake, pastries & all the usual - lovely cappuccino at no extra cost) regularly replenished by the very efficient and friendly staff right up until the helpfully late closing time of 11.00.
Late check-out time of 12.00 very useful for us in view of extremely high temperature and late flight home.
A couple of niggles - room safe was difficult to access without kneeling on the floor in a cramped area, and razor point in bathroom couldn't be used because mirror was in the way.
Verona is a great city to walk around, with lots of ancient palazzos and churches to see, nice walks along by the river, not to mention the Roman Arena that our hotel was situated just behind.
All-in-all, a very nice city for a few days stay (especially if you're an opera fan of course) and a very nice small hotel who's few minor shortcomings were more than compensated for by the very friendly and efficient staff.

Room Tip: Do at least go for an "Executive" room, as I understand that standard rooms were even smal...

We stayed in Hotel Milano from the 17th May until the 21st May. Our twin room was fabulous especially the funky relaxing coloured lights in the bathroom. The buffet breakfast was really nice and loads of it and with a selection of food for all tastes. The staff in both the restaurant and hotel could not have been more friendly and helpful. Whilst there we used the complimentary bicycles for a day to travel round Verona. It was really easy to navigate and it gave us the opportunity to see a lot in a day. The hotel is about 100 meters from the main tourist attractions and the Roman Arena. There are lots of fabulous restaurants to eat nearby the hotel too. All in all a fabulous location and very comfortable rooms.

Fantastic location just off the Arena. I booked a double room and it was tiny, hardly any space to move around the bed. Air con is in wrong location, rather than being high up is at floor level so you just get fresh if you sleep under the bed. Clean rooms, bathroom ok and average breakfast, don't expect too much. For what you pay you don't get much.

My friend and I stayed here recently for 5 nights and were delighted with our choice of hotel. The location is amazing, very close to the Arena and shops and also the main tourist sights.. The room was very good with extremely comfortable beds. The breakfast has to be one of the best I have ever sampled in a hotel, amazing choice and very fresh.. The entire staff were extremely friendly, courteous and efficient. We had a slight problem with our fridge which wasn't very cold and the loo didn't flush very well we brought this to the attention of the reception staff and they attended to it promptly..All in all an amazing hotel in one of the most beautiful cities in Italy.

We absolutely loved this hotel, we honestly couldn't believe the location when the cab dropped us off, it is literally a minute to the arena, cafes and shopping strip! The rooms were perfect. Very clean and possible the most comfortable hotel beds i have encountered. The breakfast in the morning had lots of variety and was fresh and tasty, the perfect start to the day. You won't be disappointing by choosing this hotel. And unrelated to the hotel, Verona is one of the best cities in the world!
