We stayed for two nights. It's an ideal location for the arena - just 10 minutes stroll away. The hosts are delightful, and the breakfasts completely original served in great style. Car parking under the building is convenient but at extra cost. There are two rooms, one having bathroom en-suite, whilst the other has bathroom across corridor. At about 100 euros per person per night (with car parking) this does not come cheap. The quirkiness of the en-suite room is OK for two nights whilst the travel noise can be high if the windows remain open. All-in-all, an enjoyable stay with lovely people - and ideal for the opera - but at a price.

Antonio asked if we would contact him about an hour before our arrival so he could meet us, and that's just what happened. No trouble finding the B and B, and great to have secure parking so close to the centre of the city - which was only a few minutes walk away. We had quite a bit of luggage and Antonio took care of that for us, great having a lift in the building too. The air con was a godsend! Loved the huge shower, bathroom, and the furnishings. Comfy bed too. The complimentary snacks were a treat too, and great to have a small frig in the room. Wonderful breakfasts, kept us going all day. Great to be able to make a coffee at any time too. And most of all, Antonio was just so helpful, gave us great advice on places to visit during our short stay, and recommendations on where to eat. The property is in such a handy location too. If we are lucky enough to get back to Verona, will look forward to staying here again. Thanks for a great stay.

Great location, lovely room, excellent breakfast, friendly efficient hosts.

Directions > You will need them to find the place

It's directly opposite 'Grand Hotel' with the entrance to the block between UniCredit Banca and Tabbachi RiceVitoria. Small sign in the entrance. Press button for 4th floor.

It's an easy 5 minute stroll to the main area

Room

There are 4 rooms. We had chosen a modern room with a balcony. Very comfortable. They provided free snacks/fruit and water in the room. Wacky items such as bowler hat lights at side of bed and drawers as bedside cabinets. Really good ideas!!

Rooms at the front are on the main road and it can be noisy, but that's Cities!!

Breakfast

Excellent breakfast with some nice touches like home made marmalade, fresh tomato bruschetta and a great Greek yoghurt with local honey and walnuts. Everything fresh and wholesome.

Hosts

Couldn't be more helpful and charming.

We booked this hotel for the first and last two nights of our fortnight's honeymoon. It was certainly quirky and fun. The outside of the building was not very attractive and neither was the view from our balcony, however the room and furnishings were lovely and the room a good size. The shower was brilliant but I have to say the square loo seat was the most uncomfortable I have ever used! The breakfasts were absolutely amazing, and if you manage to eat everything on offer you'll not need any lunch. Recommend for one or two nights but if you are planning on staying longer you'll probably be able to find something of better value if you shop around.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Charlie Chaplin room which was a good size with a very comfortable bed, brilliant s...

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Arte nel Centro. Pierpaulo and Antonio were both excellent hosts and provided all of the information I needed for my stay. Antonio prepared several servings of espresso at breakfast, which really helped ease my jetlag! The rooms and bathrooms are large, comfortable and well-equipped. One word of caution for summer travel: there is no A/C, so the rooms are very warm. My room had a small refrigerator so I had cold water to drink. The B&B is located a short 5-10 minute walk from the Arena and an easy walk to all of the attractions in Verona. My only regret is that I didn't stay longer. When I return to Verona I will also return to Arte nel Centro.

Room Tip: The Charlie Chaplin room is charming and has a bathroom en suite.

Dear Tampa Traveler,

thank you very much for your review. I'm happy you appreciated our structure and you enjoyed your vacation.

Just one thing: all our rooms definitely have air conditioning, in every room there is a remote control and you can set it as you like, without any restriction.

I'm sorry if you didn't notice it, maybe it was our fault to forget to tell you what the remote control was for, even if the air conditioning machine is quite big and easy to see.

Thank you again, we hope to host you in the future!

Upon arrival, we feared we'd made a mistake. The facade is a 1970's style, not what you want to have in Italy. However, upon arriving in the 'lobby', you feel you've arrived in Italy. The hosts, Antonio and his brother Pierpaolo, are most accommodating and made great recommendations for food. The room we had was very large, with a full kitchen and washing machine and the decoration was very cool and modern. If you don't mind being just outside the old town and walking a mere five minutes to the arena, this place is for you.

We drove from Austria to Verona and as we reserved earlier, we got a parking lot inside the premises of the building. Pierpaolo is such a great host! Our room was large and comfortable. It was only 10mins away from the Arena. We walked to all the attractions on the same day. Pierpaolo recommended a restaurant near the Arena and it was superb! One of the best that we have tried in Italy. Yes, in Italy! For dinner, we drove to Lake Garda for 40mins. Another town to check out. Really beautiful!

The breakfast was not so much choices if you will compare to a hotel buffet but enough to fill you. Pierpaolo personally prepared Greek Yogurt for us that we will never forget. It was really delicious. For the money that we have paid, it was all worth it!

All in all, if God permits, we will definitely come back to Arte nel Centro.
