We spent 2 nights at Verona Jazz B&B in February 2014: we couldn't find any better place to stay!!! It is comfortable, refined, cleaned, romantic, central (2 min from Piazza Bra) and easy to reach from the station (plenty of bus going there).
Stefano, the owner, is very kind and caring.
The apartment is warm and elegant...and there is a wonderful terrace with view on the roof of Verona. The B&B provides also a "special room" where a piano, lots of guitars and other instruments are available for a jam session among guests! UNIQUE!
Snacks and drinks are free all day long, and the rooms are cleaned every day!
Higly recommended!

Room Tip: There are 3 rooms: small-medium and large. They all are wonderful!

Jazz Verona is in the right place, great location, is clean and has a very amiable host. Things we found that did not work for us were:
1. No locks on the doors of the rooms...host said this was because he wants to keep the original doors. We found this disturbing.
2. Breakfast consisted of coffee, yogurt, vending machine type of pastries (dry and packaged). We ate them the first day and couldn't even look at them the second...went to the local bakery. This can not be called a Bed & Breakfast.
3. Some disrepair - faucet in bathroom had leak, both windows had broken hinges.
4. Room was on main street so opening a window brought a lot of noise into room...but their was no other way to get any ventilation into the room.
5. Host had a copy of the city map and gladly outline several things we should see but had not formal handout of sites, museums, tour operators, etc. Almost all our past B&B's have had something...he had nothing.

Room Tip: Make sure you have a room with ventilation.

We stayed here for 2 nights late Sept 2013. The location of the B&B is fantastic. The B&B itself is perfectly renovated with a very cosy and comfy ambience and the host is one of the friendliest gentleman we have ever met. A place I would strongly recommend to any visiting Verona.

After a fairly thorough search of accommodation possibilities in Verona, I chose Verona Jazz for three nights following our cruise of the Dalmation coast. We were attracted by the positive reviews and location - inside the historic district of Verona.

Booking was easy with our host Stefano quickly returning e-mail messages. The location was perfect... exactly as advertised, within walking distance of all of the significant sites in the historic district. In fact, we were less than a 5 minute walk from Piazza Bra and the arena. The home is located on the second floor of a commercial complex and was a great surprise when we walked in. It's huge and very well decorated. The rooms were very comfortable with individually controlled air conditioning. Most had ensuite baths. Morning coffee and pastries were taken on the terrace. Wonderful. Stefano was a great host who worked hard to ensure that we enjoyed our stay... which we did. He is passionate about his business and it showed.

If you are looking for a reasonably priced location in the heart of Verona I don't see how you could do any better than Verona Jazz.

Wonderful place, location, atmosphere and people!
We couldn't have asked for better...had a lovely time there.
Only one relatively low point for the breakfast..we would have expected an Italian smell of coffee all over the place in the morning and hot homemade croisseants and Italian pastries rather than ready meals and average coffee from an automatic machine. If they improve this, it'd become the best place to go!

We stayed at Verona Jazz for three nights to see Verona and go to the opera. Perfect location.... from the rooftop terrace you can watch the scenery changes taking place at the arena. Stefano was helpful in every way. Our rooms were comfortable with airconditioning. Verona Jazz is full of interesting things, both musical and mechanical. All in all it is great place to set up base for a few days to explore Verona and visit the opera.

My wife and I stayed here for two nights in June. Verona Jazz is in an older building and you pass through a large wooden door to get in. But don't let this put you off. There is an elevator you can take to the B&B or take the stairs. When you enter Verona Jazz you find a lovely modern appartment. There is lounge, a kitchen, a music room and of course the guest bedrooms. We had a large, clean bedroom with a very modern bathroom, also quite large. Next to the kitchen is an outdoor patio with tables and umbrellas. You can eat breakfast there if you wish or use it any other time. Breakfast was yogurt , juices, croissants, and other baked goods. Certainly enough to get you on your way.
Stefano is a great host. He is very sociable and full of local knowledge and advice and is only too happy to assist in any way he can. Then there is Stafano's music room. As you can guess from the name Jazz is a passion with him. His music room is full of instruments and audio equipment. He encourages guest to play if they wish to, and has many CDs to play and discuss. But don't worry the rooms are well insulated and you will not be disturbed by noise.
I haven't mentioned the location. It is less than a five minute walk to the Roman Arena. This is one of the best preserved arenas in Italy and it is still used to host Operas, Concerts and the Verona Jazz Festival. While we were there a Verdi Opera was playing in the evening. Stafano's was able to get us fantastic tickets with very little notice. This is an experience that should not be missed. To sit in the original arena under the summer night sky and see a performance was just amazing. Around the arena are also many restaurants and the pedestrian only walkway which leads to Verona's old centre within a few minutes.
We heartily recommend Verona Jazz and will return ourselves.
