As part of an Archer's tour we visited Verona's centre and were shepherded around and all the sites. Verona is lovely not too big not too crowded and very cultured. There are lovely squares and gardens and the views of the river and it's bridges and castles. Shops and lovely little restaurants and cafes and an open market. Overall in my 15 day tour of Italy Verona is the place that I would revisit. Romeo and Juliet are a minor part of this place. Very accessible and flat -no steep climbing
