“2 churches in 1”
Reviewed 5 March 2014 via mobile

Definitely liked this church! Make sure you go downstairs to see the much much older one when you visit. I'm not sure how much it cost since I had the Verona Card (a worthy investment, 15 euros and you can see everything), but I used this place to hideout while it was raining, so I know it very well. It's pretty and not far from anything else in Verona.

“another Verona hidden gem”
Reviewed 30 January 2014

Do not miss this one! While everyone are rushing off to see the house of Giulietta, I was intrigued by this church and I was not disappointed; this was the first architectural monument I visited in Verona and it remained on my top 2 list (alongside Sant'Anastasia). I highly recommend it. This is a Romanesque style church that hides an underground church inside; you will see some beautiful frescoes and sculptures inside. And all of this beauty for just 4 EUR, we used the Verona 72h card, which I highly recommend as it pays off at the end.

“Nice architectural and historical site”
Reviewed 27 November 2013

Beautiful church with nice paintings and religious statues. There's also an inferior church in the first floor, which you access by going straight to the end of the church on your right. There's a pass that allows you to see 4 of their churches for $6 euros which is a good deal if you plan to see the different buildings, since the regular admission for one is $2.50 Euros.

I passed it many times everyday when I stayed in Verona. Finally I found the entrance and visited it. It is really a beautiful church especially the lower church. Don't miss it!
