Set in the beautiful countryside and only a short drive (car essential) to the centre of Verona. The house is airy, the rooms and bathroom clean, and the kitchen was well-equipped with free use of fridge. Simone was a friendly welcoming host, giving us useful information on the city. Simone supplies an excellent relaxed breakfast that caters for all tastes and he’s juices are the best we’ve had in the northern hemisphere. Travelled with 2 young girls who loved running around the grounds and playing with the dog.

We had the best time staying at B&B Beatrice. After being in Verona all day it was so nice to get back to the B&B to relax...sitting out in the garden, chatting with the other guests, swinging in the hammock or just kicking back. The rooms were quite nice just as pictured on the website. Simone the owner was wonderful. He gave us great directions into Verona, where to park for free, favorite restaurants etc. During breakfast it was so nice to eat outside on the patio with the other guests. He always made us great cappuccinos in addition to his "special" freshly juiced fruit and vegetable drink (his "medicine"). If we ever come back to Verona we will definitely stay at B&B Beatrice again! Simone was quite a wonderful host.

First thing I have to say is that I would definitely come back to Villa Beatrice. I felt totally at home there. The house is airy and comfortable, the rooms and bathrooms are new and clean, the kitchen and the living room are well-equipped. One nice touch was the breakfast served on a big table in the veranda (the weather was perfect for this), where we met the other guests and had nice chats. Simone, the owner, gave us a warm welcome and managed to keep our stay relaxing and comfortably personal.
Be aware that there is no way to get there if not by car. A GPS sure helps in the first day! Once you learn the way, it is a breeze to go to Verona for the day. We also went to the Garda Lake from there.
The property, out of the city, quiet and surrounded by fruit trees, was perfect for recharging our energies after a day walking in the busy ancient streets of Verona.

Quiet , rural, and relaxed, with lovely views over the countryside, but only a few mins drive to the city, Villa Beatrice is a great base for Verona and the surrounding area. During our 5 day stay Simone, our wonderful host, always had an excellent suggestion for our next adventure; be it a drive into the mountains, a great restaurant (ask about the best tortellini in the world - it is true!), where to shop, or which site to visit.
The house has only 4 guest rooms, and it was great to meet other travellers over a glass or two in the evenings sitting out in the gorgeous garden, or on the terrace during the excellent breakfast, complete with SImone's special and ever changing all fruit smoothies ( he says they make you younger!). There is a good guest kitchen, TV, free use of the computer / internet and a selection of local info / brochures . And don't forget to pat Zeus, the border collie.
Great value for money, better than a hotel anytime, and no traffic noise !

My husband and I and our 19 year old son enjoyed our stay tremendously. It was a short visit, only two nights, but we were able to make the most of our time in Verona. Simone was the perfect host, giving us information on the city and providing us with an excellent breakfast and even snacks - personal service. The pictures do not do the place justice, it is better than the photos! A quiet spot, away from the hubub of the city with modern facilities including air conditioning and clean, comfortable rooms. The only difficulty was finding Villa Beatrice! Since we were unused to the signs in Italy, we had to do some guessing, but miraculously found the street and wound our way up the hillside, wound way up, to a very narrow road at the end. But we had panoramic views all the way up and the trip was definitely worth it. It is really only 10 minutes from the centre of town, very handy, but you do need a car. We highly recommend this B& B!
