Only 10 mins walk from the old town, the best ice cream is right on the way to the city center. The hotel itself is very clean and has a nice rooftop pool. 5* service and the best breakfast with fresh orange juice that you squeeze yourself.

We stayed her in early October, there were 3 of us girls sharing a room. Our room was spotless and cleaned every day, all polished marble and an good shower. We couldnt believe how cheap the minibar was. Lovely breakfasts every day-we really stocked up with warm and cold items and it kept us full well into a day of sightseeing and traveling. Great location in central alghero and a quick walk to all restaurants and sea front. I have already recommended to family and friends as well as sardinia in general.. such an amazing weeks and some of the friendliest people!!

We have just returned from a week in Sardinia, staying 4 nights in Olbia and 3 in Alghero. When we booked in August we never imagined we would use the pool but as the weather was great, we spent many hours in and around the pool. We ate out at 2 very local restaurants, Doña Isabel and OK Pizza and then strolled into the old town for a gelato. The other night we ate in the old town . Everywhere is within walking distance but we didn't find parking difficult in October. Lovely coast in the nature park to the NE near the airport.
The room was modern, slightly North African decor, clean and efficient shower. We had a door onto a walkway at the rear so it was quiet and we could open our window. We too found the tv difficult as the box was behind it so you had to aim from a particular position near the door. The bed was on the hard side for me but after the first night, I asked for a topper, translated as a lung, which helped. There is no hospitality tray but whenever I asked either of the 2 charming men at Reception, I was given a teapot of hot water. The fridge in the room was silent and useful for chilling milk and water. Breakfast was plentiful and the plates were replenished frequently, bacon, cheeses, rolls, yogurts, croissants, fruit, and juices in jugs or squeeze your own oranges, and boil your eggs to your own taste.

We stayed here for three nights during a week long tour round Sardinia and it easily lived up to expectations and deserves it's top Trip Advisor placing. The reception and breakfast staff were very friendly, helpful and informative. We stayed in room 301, top floor, right next to the roof-top pool, the room was bright, modern and well appointed though it was a bit strange just having a very high Velux window in the roof and no "normal" window in the bedroom. Breakfast was very good if a bit repetitive, with choices including salami and cheese, cold omelette and bacon (ineffective heat lamps), nice rolls, boil your own eggs, yoghurts, cornetti (Italian croissant like pastry), etc. There was also an Orange squeezer with loads of fresh oranges so that you could squeeze your own orange juice, which was definitely worth the effort. The hotel is located in a built up residential/commercial area about a ten minute walk from the Centro Storico and as the streets are quite tight and busy, we opted to pay an extra €10 per day to use the secure car park. Although a bit pricey, it was worth it knowing that when we returned from our day trips we had an allocated, secure parking space. In all honesty, one full day was enough to see Alghero but it was a good base to explore the West and North Coasts over the remaining two days and I highly recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Room 301 is a quiet room on the top floor of the main building, in a traditional corridor as opposed...

This seems like a boutique hotel as a lot of attention is paid to detail and the decor is quite tasteful. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the pool area is nice and secluded and the breakfast is more than adequate. The only small problem was the TV remote control was a bit difficult to master, not just for us but for other guests too. The service was superb. It was a bit difficult to find, at first, though.

Room Tip: All rooms are good.

Wonderful stay from 26th Aug 2013 to 3rd Oct. From check in to check out perfect service! Charming smiling Rossano at reception and all the other gentlemen on reception were all very friendly, helpful and well informed! This is a great example of a small hotel that gets things right where lots of more glamourous pretentious large ones fall down, central, quiet and really good value! Really enjoyed our stay, would highly recommend it! Heather Bourke and Michael Dolan Dublin Ireland
