This restaurant is perfectly situated in the heart of the town. We just stumbled upon it on our 1st day and were definitely beyond satisfied with the pizzas (Sarda and Parma). The house wine at 10 euro a litre was a great deal. Our waitress was really nice and friendly. It was a pleasant surprise when we visited on our second and final evening in town when she greeted us like she'd known us for a long time and asked if we wanted to be seated at the same table. We tried pizza from another restaurant closer to our hotel on our 1st night and it could not compare to the pizzas here. If ever we are in alghero again we would definitely visit here.

Had Pizza at this resturant It was so salty, I did not enjoy it. also had to pay €4 "Coperta" which I don't mind paying for in a nice resturent with table cloth not sitting on the street with a paper mat as a table cloth and then to be charged €1.50 extra as service charge. There are much nicer Resturants then this one.

We are that Irish couple in the last review, and having discovered this place we had lunch there three days of our week in Alghero. The Siciliana pizza was outstanding (up there with the best in Napoli), the chef was singing heartedly which added to the ambience. We ate outside each day even though the inside was very Italian and atmospheric. Our host Gianfranco was gracious and charming and typified the Sardinian personality. The Aragosta white wine was to die for and fab value at €13 per bottle, also the house white (vino locale) great value at €10 per litre jug. One of the many highlights of our visit to the beautiful island of Sardinia. We are really looking to a return visit to this place in the not too distant future.

Having just read other reviews it goes to show that there are good and bad days in restaurants! We sat outside for 2 days and had great pizza's, best was the Siciliana. Perfectly cooked, fresh and really tasty. We were charged 9 Eoro as stated on the menu. There is a cover charge which is a bit out of order and the house wine was not good so we stayed with beer the next day. Service was OK, maybe not the most freindly in Alghero but we will eat there again next year. There was an Irish couple on the next table and they also rated the pizza's very highly.

I am still shocked about our lunch at this restaurant. We were there on the 30th of August 2012 for lunch.
We orderes 3 Pizzas. The exact same ones we had at other places in Alghero for which we paid 9Euros.
After ordering the pizzas the waitress, who was very friendly, came telling us that her boss (the blonde tattood one) ha to charge 14 Euros (!!!) for each pizza. We said that we don't want the pizzas. Then the girl offered us other pizzas for 8Euros each.
The pizzas came and wer tasty. Then the boss came and gave us the check, which said 14Euros each for one pizza. I said that i am not going to pay this price because she should have told us befor giving us the pizza. Then she screamed and yelled at me, insulted me in english and itialian and did not let me speak. the yelled all over the place and was so furious and said the would call the police. The did not stop screaming, yelling and insulting. Then she screamed at her waitress as well. It was so shocking and embarrassing at the same time. So we paid and then she kicked us out of the restaurant and said that we should never come back.
I just can say, never go to that place!!!!
