Fantastic location in the heart of the old town. We loved being able to step from the calm of the hotel to the bustle of the city in the blink of an eye.
Lovely staff. The young man on reception was particularly helpful and friendly, he gave us great advice on restaurants, sights and parking.
We loved having our breakfast in the beautiful cloisters. Delicious pastries and coffee at breakfast.
Room a bit basic and dark but a good size, clean bathroom, comfortable bed and aircon. Perfectly fine for us.
Parking is not an option but thanks to the advice from the hotel receptionist we managed to find a free parking space just a short walk away.
Charming building, full of history. We enjoyed looking round the church which is attached to the hotel, and climbing the bell tower (small fee) for a splendid view over Alghero.
All in all, the best bit about the hotel is definitely it's location and lovely staff. It was my husbands birthday whilst we were there and it was a very special and memorable place to celebrate it.

We stayed two nights at this lovely hotel which was recommended to us by the the tourist office in Alghero
the staff Fransesco and Marco could not do enough to make us feel welcome, including carrying our cases up stairs when we arrived and down again when we departed.
It is such a lovely building with a lot of history which Fransesco takes pleasure in explain in great detail if you are interested.
We had an excellent choice of food at breakfast
We would certainly have no hesitation in staying again at this hotel and thoroughly recommend it to others, you will not be disappointed

Room Tip: we had two rooms and both were fine

We phoned at very short notice and managed to get the last room. The room was small with two bunk beds on the first floor. The room was spotlessly clean and although very small the bathroom had all mod cons. The breakfast was great with quite a good range to choose from. The whole hotel part of the cloister was also spotless and the reception very friendly indeed. The location is right in the middle of the old town and is absolutely perfect for having a look around this area and the harbour. If you can enjoy a relatively simple style of hotel in a great location this is the place. We would strongly recommend staying here.

Simple accommodation in a historical place. Great and helpful receptionist. The breakfast in the cloisters is a charm and, during the summer season, classical concerts right in the cloisters. If visiting Alghero, this is definitely the place to stay as it constitutes something more than just a room.

Room Tip: All the rooms are pretty simple, but the ones in the first floor are best with easy access to cloisters.

We loved this hotel, the only hotel in the old town of Alghero. The cloisters are such a lovely area to sit and have your breakfast, read or even listen to a jazz concert.
The rooms are simple but very clean and the shower works well and water is hot, brilliant.
The breakfasts were super with a little twist each day with something different, good coffee.
The staff in both the reception and the cafe were superb, very pleasant, helpful, engaging and with a great sense of humour. We would definitely stay there again.

Room Tip: We were happy with our room, someone advised having a room immediately onto the cloisters ours wasn't but it was quiet and suited us fine.
