Me and my wife stayed here for 7 nights in Sept 2012. The hotel location is superb. 10-15 mins walk to the old historical town center and the main beach area is only a few mins walk in the opposite direction. Shops and banks are also nearby.
The hotel was renovated a few years ago so everything is in good working order with new quality furniture. The lobby, restaurant and lounge areas were clean and gave a good appearance. There is free WIFI in the lobby and lounge areas.
Our room was upgraded to sea view with balcony which was a good treat. It was spacious, clean and well equipped. A/C was silent and free of charge (which isn't always the case in Sardinia). The bathroom was also nice and clean. The shower was perhaps a little cramped as pointed out by others, but was not a problem.
Breakfast was very good with fresh bread, fruits, ham, cheese and cereals. Coffee was excellent! Service during breakfast was good throughout our stay.
The staff was generally always friendly and helpful. Reception was open 24/7.
We would not hesitate recommending this hotel to others.

We spent 6 days in Alghero and got a room on the 4th floor (room 442). French balcony with a view over the sea (and a house in front of it). Positive remarks are good beds, one English speaking channel on the (small) TV, clean and a silient air conditioning. Good breakfast. Frendly and helpful staff.

Negative is the extremely small shower "boot". We would have liked a balcony and a fridge in the room.

We stayed 2 nights while on our honeymoon. The location is good. The old town is about a 10min walk along the sea front boardwalk. The staff was great with directions and dinner recommendations. Spoke very good english. The hotel itself is nice and clean but kind of basic. Especially the room. Clean but nothing special. Brown walls, mediocre bathroom, uninspiring. But, not bad either... I'm getting the idea that Alghero might be a tough place to find a good hotel unless you pay a lot...

Me and my wife stayed at this family-run hotel for a short-week vacation in mid september. It´s obvious renovated in modern style during past years. It´s a quite small hotel close to the beaches and close to the old town with restaurants. Some rooms have balcony versus the sea. If you are lucky you will be upgraded.

We did not think the trafic was any problem. Quite small rooms but clean and in good style.

It´s family run and the service is perfect. They are really keen to get you to feel comfortable. The breakfast is very good - different bread, cheese, ham, sausafe etc and fruit, juices, danish bread and best of all - an espresso machine with all possibilities.

Me and my wife are from Sweden. (O.S)

The hotel is nearby a very busy street run by traffic at all times.
The hotel staff was unwelcoming .
We will not stay in this hotel again and would like to warn people not to have their holiday impacted by this location.
