Went to Flora a few times in the past and it was not bad. Went back recently and decidede that I will not go back.
Restaurant looks more or less elegant (maybe a bit old fashioned and heavily decorated) but that's about it.
It has a very provincial attitude, would like to be something but is definitely not able to provide what a good restaurant anywhere should provide, good service and good food.
I went there with a few friends and had mixed antipasti; average and very small compared to other times I went.
Then we had fish as main corse. One of my friends had sole cooked with wine but the portion was so tiny that we wondered if there was a reason for that. We stopped a waiter and he said (treating us like semi idiots) that it was because the sole was fresh therefore had to be cut in a different way...To us looked like they saved half the fish for another table...
Service was pushy and not very pleasant, felt like they were always trying to take advantage of us from the beginning to the end also the explaination given by the waiter was surreal and the attitude not professional.
I have to say this is unfortunately a very noticeable trend in Cagliari, more and more establishments are relying only on tourists and forget what they are there for. There is a lack of professional attitude and lack of proper training given to staff.
