this is a very beautiful place and the people working there are happy and friendly. it is nice to talk to them and they care in a loving way. it is probably the best place to stay when you like to keep your wallet slim, indeed nice when you are someone going to explore the city, independent of any bus lines (pullman and arst are how they call them there)

you can reach dozens of different restaurants, shops and historical buildings well preserved from the hand of time, just step outside the terrazza by foot and you have everything what cagliari gives you. within minutes you are near water or the church and the best thing is, you can plan where to go just by looking into the beautiful city, right from the terrazza where you are standing when you get there. the people working there do not hesitate to help you if needed, in a way we even grew friends, in our attempt, trying to overcome the boundaries of the language.

the rooms are very different from each other and the price is absolutely fair. the breakfast was always very well prepared and everything in the whole building was clean. if you are lucky you might even get the coolest room there is, a little house standing on top of the building itself, including a stove, bed and tv.

the stay in la terrazza sul porto has left beautiful memories in myself and I will definitly visit it again when I get to Cagliari next time

This is not the place if you want 100% privacy and everything ship shape every day. It is not the place if you expect perfectly made breakfast and tip toe service. But it is the most amazing place to stay if you want personality, splendid views, occasional socializing with the owner and the guests.

The rooms vary a lot, but are more than ok. Beds are good, breakfast varies from dry bicuits and coffee to fresh bread and what ever you like.

Stay here for some days and enjoy the beautiful terraze and good conversations with new friends, cook your own if you like and enjoy Cagliari and the surroundings.

It is one of the best B&Bs I've ever visited!

This is (very) quirky accommodation. There are several flights of stairs to climb before you reach the rooms and after having to park the car quite a distance away, this wasn't fun. Our room was spacious and comfortable but the toilet seat was broken.
Self-service breakfast on the first day was good, but gradually deteriorated - no juice, fruit, yoghurt, eggs or fresh bread on our last day and nobody around to restock supplies. Tall people will find it difficult to stand upright in the kitchen.
Good views from the roof terrace

We spent three nights in this B&B, we asked for a double room and the first night it was a nice room, clean, a bit noisy, but reasonable for the price. When we arrived we were told we had to change room the second night, so we couldn't unpack our stuff. We didn't change room the second night, but we had to change it the third night and the new one was the most terrible and noisy of the apartment, right in from of the common room, too sunny and cold and the bed was a large single one instead of a double. We specified we were staying three nights when we booked, so we would have expected to have the same double room for the whole three nights. Totally not serious business, quite a scam.

We stayed in this B&B for the three days of our short trip to Cagliari.
We had a comfortable, very spacious double bedroom with a shared bathroom.
The location is very central, the place is decorated in a special personal style and it feels more like staying at somebody's home than staying in a hotel. Breakfast is entirely self-service, which I liked, the only problem is that supplies are apparently not made regularly, which means that the quality varies a bit from day to day... But the fact that you can sip your espresso on the large terrace overlooking the sea outweighs everything else!
The atmosphere is great, very relaxed, I would really love to visit this place again. The only practical reproach I have concerns hot water in the common bathroom - the water boiler is too small and two people can barely take a shower one after the other as the hot water runs out very quickly.
In general it was one of the best and most original B&Bs I've ever stayed in.
