We spent 5 nights at this small hotel in Pittulongu. It is small and rustic, nothing fancy but rather nice and openly about 20 minutes drive from the airport. The room was big enough, plenty of coathangers in the wardrobe and plenty of hot water in the small bathroom. If you like a cuppa in your room you need to takea kettle as there are no teaor coffee making facilities. There is as all mini- bar but they impose a €2 a day charge if you use it for your own food or drink which is rather disappointing and unnecessary, I think. We had a small balcony area and alleged sea view although you couldn't really see the sea at all. Sadly we didn't sit out there as a couple in a nearby room spent all their time on theirs and were chain smokers whose smoke drifted across us which we hate. The proprietors are very friendly and pleasant. The breakfast is typically Italian but more than sufficed. It is a short walk to the local beach where there are a couple of cafes. Beware! If you don't already know it the cost of renting sunbeds in Sardinia is outrageous. On Pittulongu Beach it cost €8 per item and some beaches up to €30 for two loungers and a parasol!!
