Hotel did not meet my expectations . We booked a quad share room which was a double room with two camp/rollaway beds crammed into the room. It was impossible for four people to share this room for 14 days. When we asked the reception staff for a bigger room or two rooms - we were willing to pay the extra the reaction from the reception staff is nothing short of rude. They did not want to listen and refused to give a refund when we decided not to stay there. The motel is quite nice and reception on area roomy but it is let down by the impolite and rude reception staff .

Room Tip: Book a double room stay away from the quad share room

This hotel made me realize how meaningless the star system in hotels are in Italy.

The pool was very nice, yes, and the location is indeed close to the airport and beach.
Alas, there's a catch. If you don't have a car, you are left with a very ridiculous fee of shuttle service (6 Euros per person to go back and forth to the beach which takes two minutes, 25 Euros a week, 8 Euro per person to go to the airport which takes five minutes and so on), a local bus that comes and goes once in every half hour, which doesn't even go directly to the airport and NOTHING else around but a pretty decent supermarket and hills.
The website states that the location is one of its best features, but it does not inform anywhere about the transportation situation, leaving you with no choice but to wait in the blazing sun for the bus or pay a pretty decent amount of money for a two minute ride.

The restaurant was a disaster. The Ravioli-type pasta that I had was served cold and rubbery, as if it was from the freezer and heated up in the microwave. The fish...oh the fish.. (20 Euros by the way)
The coffee served at breakfast was very bad and came out from a container that was probably used in the 1970s. Early in the morning, we found one of the clerks drinking an espresso with the same breakfast we were having, so we asked for a cup, got one after a bit of a protest (waitress: but the espresso machine is not warm yet..us: umm, I see him drinking two cups right there?) and found out that apparently, a separate coffee service was possible. But then we found that the next day the machine was "inconveniently" broken.

One thing I appreciated was the receptionists. They were helpful and spoke decent English. Other than that, I would say stay away and look for something that is closer to the city center and has a better transportation system around.

We found this hotel to be very good. The room was a good size, as was the bathroom. The shower was very good, I found it easy to get the right temperature and the heat did not fluctuate. The shower had some built in massage jets which I briefly tried. I found them a bit painful and quickly went back to the conventional shower!
There was a free safe and a fridge. I did find it strange that they put the fridge in the wardrobe as this then took up space that could have been used for clothes.
There is free WiFi in the hotel.
Some people have complained about the sea view consisting of the port and a supermarket opposite. I found the port extremely interesting, watching the ships coming and going. The supermarket was a strong plus point for us as we do a lot of hiking so it was easy to pick up lunch to take with us on our walks.
All the staff were extemely pleasant and helpful.
The only thing that let this hotel down was the restaurant. I found the food was best described as average and, although the waiters were very pleasant, the sevice tended to go a bit awry when things got busy. The first night we were there a coach party was having dinner and the sevice could only be described as chaotic.
They did cater well for my wife who is gluten intolerant, however we got the distinct impression that she was eating them dry as certain things disappeared as the week progressed!
I would have no problem recommending this hotel, just go bed and breakfast and find your evening meal elsewhere.
