“A Real Gem”

If you intend to explore the west coast of sardinia this is the ideal base camp. The structure is a real typical country house which has been renovated and preserved in its original structure and furniture. The staff is extremely kind, with an atomsphere of "family". One of the staff members (Paolo) is a local surfer so you can get all the tips you need. I strongly recommend this.

Simply wonderful hotel. We loved this place so much we rearranged our schedule a bit just to stay for a single night again two days later.

The rooms are gorgeous and we got to stay in two different ones. The owner asked upon checkout which one we liked better and I just couldn’t decide.

Our first room was in a smaller building which was for wine/oil production. The original oil press was part of the décor along with antiques and beautiful textiles. The room was spacious, with a wonderful bed and a beautiful bathroom.

Our second stay, days later, was in the main house in another beautifully decorated room with a massive bathroom (seriously, the bathroom was as big as our dining room at home).

The grounds and house are fun to explore—they have a beautiful garden to sit in, with a covered shaded outdoor seating area with sofa s and tables. Inside the main house is a living room and billiard room along with the breakfast room. (breakfast, by the way, was standard Sardinian yogurt, cheese, fruits, eggs, and breads & jams). Speaking of food, we were greeted each afternoon we stayed with an aperitivo and snacks at check-in. This was so welcoming and thoughtful.

One of the overall best things about the hotel is just the ambiance of the place. Once you step inside the walls of the house’s courtyard, you are completely surrounded by a beautiful and relaxing hotel. You easily forget that just outside the door is a busy little small town.

Another highlight of the hotel was the staff and owners. They are well-prepared with information and recommendations for the best sights, beaches, and restaurants in the area. The hotel is perfectly situated for taking in the Sinis sights and beaches (Tharros, S'Archittu beach, Roman baths, etc). We felt well taken care of and we appreciated the obvious love that the owners put into sharing their ancestral home with guests.

As this visit was during our honeymoon, we plan to return for an anniversary in the future. I’m already looking forward to our return!

Stayed three nights during holiday. This hotel was really good place to stay. Perfect hospitality and service, nice rooms. Quiet small Sardegnan city. Very short distance to the all amazing west coast beaches. There is no pool or restaurant, but this was not the problem at all, because around are many very good restaurants for seafood. Breakfast was really good and with rich choice. Highly recomended.

Staying at the Hotel Lucrezia is probably the only reason to visit Riola Sardo, but it is a good one. The hotel is in a very nicely restored house, with a lovely central courtyard. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is very good. While there is nothing to do, and with the exception of pizza, not much to eat, in Riola Sardo, it does have a traditional old Italy feel to it. While the hotel does not serve dinner, they will serve a light meal of meat, cheese, bread and wine in the courtyard, which is a nice way to end the day if you don’t want a heavy meal.

Beautiful little hotel. The rooms were very comfortable. Only downside was the location - its situated in a very quiet little town so in order to get some action you need to drive a bit. A car is a must. I must mention that the staff was wonderful. They were extremely helpful and kind; definitely made our stay at lucrezia a memorable one!!

The attention to detail and sense of hospitality at Hotel Lucrezia is hard to overstate. From the moment you walk in to the beautifully renovated villa, with its antique olive press and cellars, to the moment they wish you farewell, the staff goes out of its way to please and provide. The welcome drink, the carefully manicured garden, the tastefully decorated rooms...a real pleasure.

And they are genuinely nice people, willing to go beyond the "requirements." On our way out, rushing to catch a flight, I left my favorite jacket on the bed. In no time, I had an email confimring they had found it, and a few days later a tracking number with express delivery back to the United States. Talk about "above and beyond..."

Thank you so much for making our "baby moon" a pleasure!

After making a long drive from the north of Sardinia we finally made it to Riola Sardo's Hotel Lucrezia. Tucked in a small town you could almost miss the Hotel. But once you step inside you are welcomed by a huge courtyard with a variety of fruit trees. The staff was very accommodating and showed us to our amazing room. As we were getting settled, they brought us a bottle of local wine and a bit later we were introduced to a local cocktail and some food while we sat under a huge fig tree. Anything we need the staff was there to help us with as far as reservations to restaurants, beach towels and umbrellas or directions. Breakfast was also amazing. Another hard place to leave. So glad we found this little gem.
