Hotel was very nice, our room on the second floor faced the inner court, which was beautiful and peaceful, we would recommend this room. Service was nice, everybody was helpful. Breakfast was just fine, everything you need, but some places in Sardinia impressed us more in these terms. What didnt work for us was the location, there are no walking areas nor restaurants to stroll to at night and it is a distance to drive to other places/restaurants. Parking for the hotel is on a very narrow street with active traffic, which left us a bit uneasy and not too easy to find parking space if you return late.If you need to stay in these parts of Sardinia, we would strongly recommend this hotel, however.

It poured with rain for most of the day we were staying here but we snuggled down in our wonderful sitting room which we shared with friends who were in an adjoining room. We loved it and could not wish for a more comfortable place to relax and read books. We were sustained by a fabulous breakfast and when the rain subsided we had a fun evening exploring Oristano. The staff gave excellent recommendations for local restaurants. Do ask for the place where the owner catches and prepares the fish for the table. His wife serves it and the atmosphere is one of a good private dinner party.

Headed to Sardinia for some early autumn sun and beach time. Chose Hotel Lucrezia due to a Guardian recommendation and the reviews here on tripadvisor. We were extremely pleased with the hotel and our holiday.
We had the Rosemaria (something like that) room (top floor of the main farmhouse) which was lovely, very clean, large, with huge and comfy bed, lots of storage and period features and lovely bathroom and products. If you are a light sleeper you may get woken by the occasional car going past, but this wasn't a problem for me.
The common areas of the farmhouse are nice, but we spent any of our time at the hotel in the beautiful garden, where you can relax with a reasonably priced drink and snacks (first drink is complimentary which is a lovely touch).
Breakfast was plentiful, with lovely strong fresh coffee, freshly baked croissants, bread and cake and fresh fruits, yoghurts, meats and cheese.
The staff are absolutely brilliant, beyond helpful and happy to give you advice of places to go visit depending on your wants and will book taxis, restaurants etc. They even opened the breakfast an hour early for us so we could have breakfast before we sped off for our flight and before we arrived were happy to answer my emails, normally within a few hours, we helpful tips and advice. Cannot fault the staff!
The hotel is in a little village where there was two pizzerias (both very tasty, Ginestras was my favourite) and a lovely ice cream parlour (dolce & salata) within easy walking distance. There is a little supermarket across the road where you can get yummy bread, cheeses etc. However a car is a must as the beautiful beaches are 10-15 km away, but driving was easy and parking abundant and reasonably priced. Our favourites were Putzu Idu and Is Arrutas. Taxis are 50 euro to get to the nearest town (Cabras, Oristano etc) if you wanted a drink with dinner but the taxi service is amazing (they arrange for the restaurant to call the taxi when you are ready so pick up is easy- obviously you dont need this if you can speak Italian).
A really enjoyable, beautiful and relaxing holiday- go!

This comfortable place is a real surprise as you go through the wooden door to a delightfully renovated small hotel, right in the centre of the of Riola. The rooms we had were spacious and comfortable, the staff delightful and helpful. Lots of advice on where to go and which were the best choices for lunch and dinner. Very good breakfast buffet.

Room Tip: Rooms away from traffic may be quieter if you want all the windows open.

Hotel is 15 minutes away (by car) from great beaches. Rooms are comfortable and located in isolated parts of the property. One has full illusion of living in one's own house. The courtyard is amazing. All covered by trees. It invites to sit and relax there during daytime or at night. Rooms are clean and good size. Service is prompt and friendly. Definitely would come back

If you intend to explore the west coast of sardinia this is the ideal base camp. The structure is a real typical country house which has been renovated and preserved in its original structure and furniture. The staff is extremely kind, with an atomsphere of "family". One of the staff members (Paolo) is a local surfer so you can get all the tips you need. I strongly recommend this.

Simply wonderful hotel. We loved this place so much we rearranged our schedule a bit just to stay for a single night again two days later.

The rooms are gorgeous and we got to stay in two different ones. The owner asked upon checkout which one we liked better and I just couldn’t decide.

Our first room was in a smaller building which was for wine/oil production. The original oil press was part of the décor along with antiques and beautiful textiles. The room was spacious, with a wonderful bed and a beautiful bathroom.

Our second stay, days later, was in the main house in another beautifully decorated room with a massive bathroom (seriously, the bathroom was as big as our dining room at home).

The grounds and house are fun to explore—they have a beautiful garden to sit in, with a covered shaded outdoor seating area with sofa s and tables. Inside the main house is a living room and billiard room along with the breakfast room. (breakfast, by the way, was standard Sardinian yogurt, cheese, fruits, eggs, and breads & jams). Speaking of food, we were greeted each afternoon we stayed with an aperitivo and snacks at check-in. This was so welcoming and thoughtful.

One of the overall best things about the hotel is just the ambiance of the place. Once you step inside the walls of the house’s courtyard, you are completely surrounded by a beautiful and relaxing hotel. You easily forget that just outside the door is a busy little small town.

Another highlight of the hotel was the staff and owners. They are well-prepared with information and recommendations for the best sights, beaches, and restaurants in the area. The hotel is perfectly situated for taking in the Sinis sights and beaches (Tharros, S'Archittu beach, Roman baths, etc). We felt well taken care of and we appreciated the obvious love that the owners put into sharing their ancestral home with guests.

As this visit was during our honeymoon, we plan to return for an anniversary in the future. I’m already looking forward to our return!
