We have stayed at this Hotel earlier in the year around September when the weather was of a respectable temperature and very pleasant it was to, nothing has changed from our last visit still tired and needing attention but we decided to book again for December.
Oh dear a mistake!!!
Firstly we noticed the lack of heating in the main entrance hall and the wash rooms temp roughly around 20f / 6c if that ?
Considering the hallway it’s were you would sit on the lovely sofas provided, unfortunately not for long due to lack of heating, we did notice various heaters all around the room but none were switched on, we spent most of the time in our bedroom with the air conditioning set on at 24f to 25f
The wi-fi was intermittent depending on where you were in your room 95% of the time it was zero, we made mention of this but nothing done, strong signal in the freezing hallway & breakfast room.
Room service was lacking, we were told due the lack of guests room service was not available and the staff were on Holiday until the end of January.
We also noticed on our few trips out when we returned our room was cold the hotel had switched off the air-con from the master switch they controlled, not good at all with an elderly man of 84 with a heart condition & needing to stay warm as well as myself.
No tea or coffee facilities in the room which would have been nice, fridge stocked with the normal water and fizzy drinks only and chocolate wafers.
My question is why open if you can’t provide as stated even with the lack of guests??
The rooms are kept clean at all times and staff are very helpful full marks for that but that does not make up for the aforementioned.
The Hotel is in need of desperate refurbishment throughout.
Hence my star rating and warning bring plenty of woolly clothing.

The hotel is located in the centre of Sassari, making it a good place to begin exploration of the city. The room decor is a bit old fashioned, but the room is comfortable, with a big bathroom. I stayed in a room on the 5th floor and the shower basin was completely blocked so I had to shower in the bath tub. There was a lot of noise coming in from a large group of students who got back in the early morning hours, drunk and singing, and it woke me up. Breakfast was passable, but one of us ordered a cappuccino which was made with off milk so we had to order it again.

very good breakfast, rooms comfortables, unfortunately the restaurant is not working for dinners, staff helpful and really very kind.
I have notice, unfortunately, that the moquette in the rooms is not so clean.

Centrally located hotel within walking distance to Piazza Italia and the centro storico. My 7th floor room(at the rear of the hotel) was quiet and the room facilities good. The breakfast was excellent, and the Reception staff most helpful.Do not miss a visit to the Museo Sanna(short walk away). A car allows visits to La Pelosa,Stintino,Castelsardo,Porto Torres,Lu Bagnu ,Marina di Sorso, and Platemona beaches etc.,.Beautiful Sardinian gold and silver,hand-made filigree jewellery as well as artisan Sardinian products.End of May/beginning of June was perfect for me(from Wales,UK) but it can get v.hot in July/August.!A disgrace is that there is no work- and many Graduates are forced to leave their beautiful country in search of work.

Room tip: Top floor rear for maximum peace.

We used the hotel for our base during a 2-week visit to Sardinia. The front desk personnel went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, gave us directions to local restaurants, assisted with various questions. The guest rooms had comfortable beds, good linens, nice reading lights, hairdryers, plenty of hot water in the shower, and quiet, despite the city location. Good insulation between rooms and floors. Included continental breakfasts with breads, meats, cheeses, fruits, and cereals fueled us up before out daily forays. Staff helpful with our various coffee or juice requests. Praise to the bartenders for taking the initiative to purchase some vodka for us, after learning we liked to have a pre-dinner martini. Evidently, martinis aren't commonplace for local Sards. One day, weary from too much sightseeing, we opted to sit on the comfortable lobby sofas for hours on end and enjoy our books. We were made to feel at home by the nearby desk staffers. Very good hotel!

Room tip: Rooms a distance from the elevators are quieter.
