We were out walking in this area every day during our weeks stay and we always walked through these gardens. Lovely spot, fantastic views and story of an eccentric toad loving English woman who created them. Make sure you stroll here, this is amazingly quiet after the mayhem of the tourist streets

For those staying at Hotel Ariston or other hotels on the "lower road" your walk up into the central avenue of Corson Umberto passes through these interesting gardens with several "follies" of curious design. Beyond them, past an imposing statue is the balcony overlooking the Gulf of Naxo 700 ft below. There is also a public WC.

A scottish woman built a gorgeous garden in the 1890's with darling "follies", plants and fountains. Wonderful place to get away from the crowds in the shopping district of Taormina. It is a don't miss.

A very nice and calm place with beautifull gardens and astonishing view! It would be helpfull to have some signs and some information about the buildings inside but all in all it is worth a visit and the relaxation you ll get from it!

The park had these particularly interesting remains of what seemed to be Greek/Roman buildings. However, it would have been particularly helpful should some sort of information be available to tourists to read as they see these impressive buildings.
