First of all, i would like to thank Federico Guastella for everything,he is the best guide for Catania, and he has answers for all the questions, and also has such a positive energy and it's a pleasure to talk to him.
About the hotel, it's nice, quiet, and with beautiful view.

I would like to make a note of carefulness of the hotel's receptionists ,especially,Federico Guastella. He can give you advice on everything you want to know about. Also we enjoyed cleanness and space in rooms as well as coziness of the small green garden from outside our room.also this hotel is situated next to the main bus station .

We chose this hotel as it is easy to access from the airport - a few minutes' walk from the bus stop outside the train station (bus to and from airport). It's a real oasis inside - various courtyard gardens full of beautifully kept plants and flowers - the photographs don't really do it justice. We had a room opening onto one of the courtyards - it was very quiet, air con worked well. A great start to our visit to Sicily.

After a fairly miserable day we found ourselves stranded in Catania for the night. We chanced upon this hotel and it was excellent. The exterior doesn't look anything special but the location is excellent (right next to the train station and a short walk from Plaza Duomo). Things just get better from there. We had been staying in a different 3 star hotel in Taormina and the Hotel Villa Romeo was more comfortable, better equipped, better maintained and cheaper.

Catalina is a good jumping off point for many areas and honestly I wish we had found this place when we were booking as we could have stayed there, travelled a lot more and still saved money in comparison to staying in Taormina.

We had our best nights sleep here from our entire week in Sicily.

The staff were excellent at this hotel and Federico deserves a special mention as he was excellent and very welcoming.

There is a B&B as well I believe and that looks almost as good going by the pictures, Federico did point out that it doesn't have a lift though.

Room Tip: Don't be afraid to look at the B&B as an alternative option if this place is fully booked.
