Great place, would recommend.Beautiful appointed, quiet and private.
A very special and relaxing place to spend your holiday,we would certainly recommend it to anyone. The location of this bed&breakfast is perfect for a stay in Catania, not far from the Historical center and of the marvellous Castle Ursino.. Service was very friendly and helpful too-nothing was too much trouble. We thank them for their cordiality and hope to be back soon.Joan

We stayed three nights at the B&B Globetrotter in Catania and had a very pleasant time. The B&B is very nicely set and decorated and located right next to the city historical center. The staff that welcomed us was extremely friendly and spoke several languages. They called the owner of the Palazzo Biscaro so that we could visit it, they recommended some places to eat. We had our breakfast with the other guests sitting around the table next to the kitchen corner, which was a tasty and fun moment. he mattresses were hard and plesant to sleep on. Just great!

A stay at the Globetrotter B and B in Catania is a wonderful experience. The friendly staff are multi-lingual, knowledgeable, and go out of their way to be helpful. The rooms are clean and comfy. The breakfast at Globetrotter is exceptional, with cereal, breads, pastries, cheese, fruit and of course caffe and teas. There is even a guitar in the lounge, and an atmosphere of international friendship. The location is steps away from the main Piazza and Duomo, and huge bustling fish and vegetable markets. There is also a central bus station nearby, as well as Via Etnea, a long mostly car free boulevard that has the best shopping in Sicily, including side streets filled with open air markets every morning, where bargains and treasures abound. For the price this is far and away the best place to stay in Catania!

I stayed at B&B Globetrotter for three nights in late December. Good location; five minute walk from Piazza Duomo. A couple of minutes from Piazza Federico di Svevia, which has a castle with an interesting history...I highly recommend you go on the Etna Experience tour (which is affiliated with the B&B) to find out more as I learnt loads and it was the highlight of my stay in Catania. The B&B itself is very central, with large and clean bedrooms/bathrooms and a good breakfast spread. The receptionist Frederica even went to buy fresh, warm bread for me every morning! Breakfast is held on a communal table in the foyer which gives you a chance to speak to other guests and staff. All staff are very friendly and speak English well. They're also happy to give you tips as to what to see in Catania without being intrusive. Excellent value for money for those wanting a private room without being one of thousand guests in a bigger hotel.

A very pleasant and cosy bed & breakfast, good atmosphere!
Also a very nice location in the city center, the smal street where the hostel is located is not noisy.
The rooms are comfortable and well maintained, The owner and staff are very friendly and hospitable, you feel very welcome.
Breakfast is fine, good coffee. A recommendation for everybody who wants to visit Catania or Siracusa.
