B&B Addauru

We stayed here in mid-September. It's in a nice spot in town - central but pretty quiet, near lots of interesting action. Room was nice and spacious and clean. Lovely service too, with the owners going out of their way to be helpful. Nothing really to fault - would definitely stay here again on another visit!

Good B&B located in the centre of Palermo. The room was very clean and the bathroom as well, but the bathroom didn´t have ventilation so it smelled a bit weird. The breakfast was good and the hosts were very nice, they explained to us the bests parts of both Palermo and Sicily, it was very helpful! I definitely recommend it!

Excellent B and B. Situated on a quiet street . Within 15 mins of train station and 5 mins of Via Roma. Bedrooms traditional and well designed. Manager Maria very helpful and kind. Good quality wifi reception. Walking distance of train station. Streets nearby have many genuine (non tourist trap) artisan and trade shops.

The stay at Addauru and Erminia who runs the B&B are in themselves a great memory of my stay in Sicily! The B&B is perfectly located, very clean, and Erminia is very nice, helpful, and an exceptional host! She responded to my emails immediately, I told her my estimated arrival time, and upon arrival she told me a lot about Palermo, where to eat, what to see. I wholeheartedly recommend this B&B!

I'd highly recommend this B&B, located just in the middle of the city centre, 10 mins walk from the main train/bus station.

Erminia, the host, was promptly responding to my email messages prior to arrival (all replies received within 24h). Once we got there, she gave us a map and a lot of information about Palermo. When she didn't know the answer to any of our questions, she quickly looked it up on internet or made a necessary phone call. She was extremely friendly, always smiling and ready to help. She also advised us on how to get to other places outside Palermo. You can tell straight away that she loves this job and that's why she makes people feel comfortable and welcome.

The room, including bathroom, was pleasant, large and very clean; it had a hair dryer and air-con. The breakfast area was also very tidy, cosy and nicely decorated.

The only thing which people may find a bit disappointing is breakfast which consisted of rusks (hard, dry biscuits), jam (peach, cherry and apricot), chocolate bars and cereals (there was no milk or yoghurt to eat them with and no bowl to put them in though). This is probably how typical Italian/Sicilian breakfast looks like, but guests from other parts of the world may expect something more substantial, such as bread, cheese, etc.

All in all, I would definitely recommend this place as we had a very pleasant stay with no problems at all. THANKS Erminia!

Excellent location - walking distance of airport bus drop off at Central Station. Also a lot of the main tourist attractions in Palermo are within walking distance.
Erminia, the manager, was brilliant. She gave us lots of suggestions about what to see, where to eat and how to get around.
We stayed there twice, for two nights on both occasions. The second room was palatial, the first a little cramped.
All in all a good find (through LateRooms.com). It was very reasonably priced and staying there was one of many pluses in our trip to Sicily.

Room Tip: Ask for one with a balcony.

B&B Addauru is a small, minimalist B&B – only 4 bedrooms, with a host, Ermnia, who doesn't live in the B&B and is not there all the time. Fortunately she was in when we arrived around 11:30. Normally she relies on guests calling her cell phone a half hour before arriving so she can be there. She is quite young and very nice, and speaks reasonable English. The room, with bath is comfortable, with AC, and TV, but no frills. It is centrally located and excellent value for the money.
