A beautiful boutique hotel with very comfortable rooms and helpful staff. It took us some time to find it since the GPS kept leading us around in circles. It is located close to the center in a very run down neighborhood.

Beautiful property, fantastic staff. An oasis in the somewhat boisterous city of Palermo. It appears that it's worth spending the extra few bucks to get an upgraded room. Also, it is literarily 30 feet from the Vucceria market (worth seeing)

Room Tip: Hard to get to by car (and we hope your car is small)

This is a true boutique hotel in the middle of Palermo. Located in a nice piazzetta, in an old but refurbished palace is incredibly quiet although in the run down neighborhood there is a very agitated world (a street market, drug dealers, etc). If you can leave with these contrasts then you will feel very well in Palermo and appreciate its charm ! I can compare it with a gem in the mud, so big is the contrast between the white princely residence and the black-grey dilapidated houses nearby.
The rooms are large and I had a huge tent-bed. Indeed, they can do some more for the interior design, as my room was furnished with two huge wardrobes, but only useable for half of them, so I was a bit confused about their purpose. But the paintings were nice: views of volcano Etna by day, by night, in a modern interpretation. Given that the room was very big it was quite cold and it took a day to warm it up, so I had to use an extra blanket in the first night.
The staff is one of the best asset of this hotel : always smiling, friendly, they offered us all the information we need and even more.
It is worth mentioning that it's extremely difficult to find the hotel even with the GPS. The navigator will drive to the streets that are closed for the daily market. In the end we asked local people and with their indications we managed to get there, but take care the streets are narrow, packed with cars, and only one way. But keep your calm and everything will be fine.

Room Tip: All rooms seems to be very large still quiet. The only problem is to get to the hotel so use their indications or ask someone.

Dear Guest,
thank you for your review!
We're complitely agree with you about the contrast of Palermo!
About the GPS we always suggest to write on gps system "Via del Ponticello" in order to reach the hotel! Infact, the day before the arrival we always send an e-mail to our guest explaining the best way to reach us!
We also know the problem of heating in the bigger rooms, so we're going to solve this issue settle in a powerful heating system!
About the guardrobe we use part of it as a deposit for the staff to conserve blankets and so on...
At the end...the paintings...! We're really appreciate that you find it beautiful! These are for sale and are part of the art of our boutique hotel!
Best regards and we hope to see you another time!

Considering the historic center of Palermo, it was really nice. The atmosphere was fine, the suite was fine (missing some love for details maybe) and the staff was very friendly and helpful! Nice stay - might be back!
