“Tiles Tiles Everywhere”
Reviewed 26 May 2014

This is a little gem of a private museum tucked away on a side street in Palermo. We loved our tour (you must book ahead) and look forward to an expanded museum in 2015.

“Take the time to visit if you like tile and ceramics”
Reviewed 21 May 2014

This little private museum is a work of love by a man in love with tiles. His collection spans several centuries and many different styles. To house this collection of literally thousands of historic tiles he is renovating an old palazzo--a fascinating building itself. When the work is done (they hope by the end of the year) many more tiles will be on display.

“interesting collection in Palermo apartment”
Reviewed 13 May 2014

Worth seeking out this collection of hand painted Sicilian floor tiles, displayed on walls of this restored apartment in the old town. Good explanation in English. Book in advance.

“Really interesting a great collection”
Reviewed 1 May 2014

This is a private collection of tiles rescued from old palaces in Sicily and Naples which has been built up over the years .They are displayed on the walls of the owners house and at the moment there are about 2500 to view with many more in storage.
It is a fascinating collection and the guided tour is included in the entrance fee of 7 euro, money well spent.
A not to be missed visit when you are in Palermo.
The area is interesting too with typical shops making and selling hats and berets
