we stayed 1 night at this hotel and found the service average. The drawbacks were:
- no parking so you need to park in the street
- the Wifi was not working, we asked at the reception but the receptionist couldnt care less
- breakfast was not vey nice, just cakes not really a standard european breakfast
- old style rooms, just the bathroom has been enovated
- the old elevator is making lots of noise especially if your room is next to it

We will not go back to this hotel

Room Tip: as far from the elevator as possible

We had a lovely time at Villa Esperia, a traditional hotel in Liberty style in Mondello (PA). Rooms are spacious and very comfortable, with high ceilings, bathrooms have been recently renovated. Villa Esperia offers a great example of traditional Italian hospitality.
Worth trying the restaurant Casamia.
Staff is friendly and helpful.
Great value for money.
The beach is 5 minutes walk away.

Room Tip: Ask for a quiet room with a view on the garden. The road is quite busy and noisy

Beautiful, Nice 5 star hotel with "European standard " ! The breakfast was very good with mimosa drinks . The staff were helpful. the GM was very progressional; he gave us a suite sea view after we complained about our room having problem with the airconditional.

Located outside the main area of Mondello, this hotel is quiet and fairly close to the beach. We were given a large room on the third floor with a very good bathroom. The bedroom was a bit dowdy and very little imagination would make this hotel a lot more attractive. However, it is clean and comfortable and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Because it is quite a walk from other restaurants we ate in the hotel restaurant every evening. There is not much atmosphere in the dining room but the food and wine are good value. There is a bus-stop right outside for visiting Palermo and tickets can be bought at reception. The main town of Mondello struck us as a bit run-down and slightly 'seedy' but the beach is lovely. We would definitely recommend this hotel as a pleasant place to stay outside the city of Palermo.

We stayed here for five days and it was an excellent base for out visit. Those who enjoyed the beach had only to walk down the road for 10 minutes. Those who wanted to go in to Palermo had the bus stop outside. Taxis also appeared quite quickly if ordered.

The rooms were large and well air conditioned - always a plus in Italy. The staff were pleasant and there was a nice garden spot to have an evening drink outside.

The staff were very helpful.

Room Tip: The front rooms - e.g. 306 had windows on both sides and very modern bathrooms.

This is a charming hotel situated a short stroll from the beautiful beach area of Mondello, away from the very busy city of Palermo. The room was exactly like the photograph on the web site. The staff were efficient and friendly breakfast was included and was very continental. the hotel and rooms were very clean. if there is one downsde it would be the lack of a bar area although this may be different when the weather is better as there appeared to be seating areas in the garden.
