An oasis of sophisticated taste and attention to details! Andrea is a pefect host I felt really being taken care of. People who complain about breakfast need to understand different international customs when it comes to the morning meal. Do not expect your beans and bacon to be served in Palermo! In my view it was more than what you can expect in some hotels, and definitely superior quality and flavour! Thanks a lot Andrea and hope to be back soon!

Room Tip: Ask for the room facing the court yard if you want to have a really quiet room.

I stayed at Casa Mo with three others for 2 nights. The B&B is located in a very nice and atmospheric building with characteristic details. The rooms are very spaceous and make you feel very much as if you were at home.

The owner, Andrea, is a nice host and is prepared to help with whatever queries you may have.

Definitely recommendable!

I stayed at "Casa Mo" for 8 days and I'm already plotting on coming back next year! Place is absolutely lovely, situated walking distance from Politeama.
Located in 19th century palazzo, lovingly restored and now being runned by couple of charming owners.
Disagree with the comment about breakfast below- I found it sufficient and Andreea's coffee (cappucino) is to die for :)

Hoping to return in 2014 with my family, couldn't wish for more and simply cannot recommend it enough.

This place is a real find. With just three rooms, and located in a beautiful old palazzo, this in fact is a huge flat, converted into a beautiful b&b. The rooms are spacious and the beds very comfortable. At least one of the rooms has a huge bathroom (itself a size of a room in some hotels) with a tub and a window. The ceilings are probably 5-6 meters high, with beautiful frescoes. And at just 40 euro for a single stay, you just almost cannot wish more.
However, I would really rather pay a few euro more and have a decent breakfast, rather than just coffee and toasts that are offered (in a breakfast room, though, which is so beautiful, you might forget about the breakfast itself), or, alternatively, pay a few euro less, and let that place be called "bed without breakfast". Ok, in some much more expensive hotels the breakfast is this kind of American style, I admit, but we're in Italy, and in Sicily after all. Also, just one tiny shampoo con shower gel, which is barely enough for one shower, is offered, and it would be nice, if an extra one is always there to grab, since it's a bit awkward to ask about it again and again. Also, bear in mind that the place is located some 10/15 mins walking away from the center, even if, with the restaurant/wine shop Cibus right in front of it, there's not much to complain about here.

Beautiful apartment in an old palaccio, decorated in style - all as you see on the picture. Ceilings are great and that’s something which makes this place special and contributes to your perception of Palermo.
Very clean, good breakfast, fair internet connection (better in lobby than in the room).

Location if very good – walking distance to all attractions, multiple restaurants in the area and a small grocery shop on the same street.

The outside of the building may not be appealing on the Google street view but ignore it, the building is fine inside, neighbours are nice and helpful if you struggle to open the main door; the whole street feels safe. The street is rather noisy until about 2am but, c'mon, it’s Palermo !

Owners are very friendly and helpful. They leave in the same apartment in a separate area (which I considered as good advantage as I was travelling alone).
