We stayed here 4 nights. The owner was very friendly. The breakfast didn't have a huge selection of stuff but it was very nice and of good quality: it had cheeses brought from from special places, some very tasty pies, and even home made stuff some days, as well as yogurt, fruit, fresh made orange juice, and some more things. The room was very big and comfy.
The only negative points would be that the room was a bit cold sometimes, and the central heating system made it better but not perfect (there was a heater though, we didn't try it). In the weekend nights there was some noise coming from people from a nearby pub/disco, but the hotel is in the center so this is not so strange. However, we would still stay here again, since the location is great, the rooms are comfy, and the people are very nice.

The review by ellem says it all. The rooms are newly renovated with a style you would expect from the owners of an art gallery.

You get the ricotta for breakfast along with homemade cake from Antonella (responsible for the spotless rooms and from Raphaella (responsible for verything else) Raphaella speaks very good english and will make you feel at home right away. She can tell you all you need to know about where to eat and what to see. .

Super friendly and helpful staff, excellent location but a bit noisy from alleyways and a local bar that ran late... but it's the city centre so was expected. Room was excellent, large, stylish good bed. Fair value. Breakfast decent. Building was lovely.

Palermo is undergoing a renaissance and the hotel fits right in. Centrally located, all the places you want to see in Palermo are within an easy walk. This includes the best shopping streets in the city. Imaginatively decorated and furnished with the eye of an artist, the hotel is a joy to stay in. Our room has a living area so we enjoyed more space than what regular hotels offer. The kitchen came in handy as well and the Internet worked very well in our room.

Our daughter and granddaughter were with us and were really happy with their room. The rooms are very clean. The art gallery was already partly done with the art library that goes out into a courtyard. There is an elevator for those who can't handle the stairs.

Parking is not hard to find in the piazzas and the streets but Via del Celso is a narrow one way lane so it takes a bit of courage to get up to where there may be space to park. Often, there is always a voluntary parking assistance who can make space happen for a small consideration.

We had a great stay that the second time we were in Palermo, we stayed there again. The owners and staff are superb and very helpful.

Room Tip: For a family, you can ask for rooms in the same section with its own separate door.

Spotlessly clean, large comfortable room with nice furniture. Lovely, helpful owners. Good location for us. It is a short walk to some nice restaurants - you may have to book as they were very busy in March. The owners said they were opening an art gallery/library/wine bar in the complex (which is in an old building behind wooden doors) - would seem to me to be a quiet haven in a busy city. The laneway is a bit daunting at first but once inside it is very nice. About 15 min walk from station and easy to find on foot. Free wifi. Good hot water. Excellent value. We would certainly stay again. Breakfast was a little lacking but the fresh squeezed orange juice and lovely service was appreciated.

Our 3-generation family of 9 stayed in 3 rooms/suites for 4 nights. The owners and staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The continental breakfast, with some additions, was freshly prepared. This is a small, new hotel in an older building near the center of town. The rooms are attractively decorated and well furnished. The central location is very convenient to tourism sites, shops and restaurants, but it also can be noisy on weekend nights. Overall, we strongly recommend it.

Within a walled perimeter, which the Phoenicians built in the 4th century BC to mark out the nucleus of their city, in Via del Celso 14, not far from Quattro Canti and behind the Santa Ninfa dei Crociferi Church in an oasis of peace and quiet, you will find Nuvole Residenza. This boutique B+B can be found on the first and second floors of the Principe di San Vincenzo Palace. Next door are the ruins of the mighty walls of the Gran Cancelliere monastery, which was destroyed in the bombing raids of World War II.
