My husband and I completed our week long trip to Sicily in this hotel for 3 nights. In a dirty, noisy, grafiti filled city, this hotel provided us with a clean, friendly and convenient location to tour Palermo and it's surroundings. The staff was helpful with the return of our rental car, and provided us with helpful information in regard to visiting the many wonderful places of interest. The hotel was incredibly clean in this otherwise filthy city. It is a shame that the garbage remains piled up on every imaginable street location. All the rooms are the same size and configuration, and they are wonderfully soundproofed. Our room was on the highest floor(3rd), overlooking the main enterance. The breakfast was adequate. Do not miss going to Cefalu!!!!! Plan on spending the day there, wandering through this midieval town, and having dinner on a waterfront terrace. Monreale was a wonderful side trip as well to visit the mosaic Duomo. Enjoy the sights of the Opera House, markets and Palace in Palermo. Don't miss the 4 Corners!! Unfortunately, my memory of the garbage remains in my mind, but......the Ai Cavalieri made the city of Palermo shine!!

Having checked into our room that was reasonably sized although with a small bathroom, we returned to the lobby lounge to access the free guest Internet facility but without success. Unhelpful staff said nothing was wrong. Over the next 4 days we periodically tried to access the Internet and always to no avail. Each time we reported to the staff our difficulty we were informed that they would look into it, but of course no one ever did. Breakfast was very basic & not much choice washed down with tasteless coffee. Once again the front office staff were sullen and most put out when we asked a question. We requested a second room key as we were taking different activities on one of the days but this was vigorously declined by the staff without adequate reasoning. All in all we were very glad to be gone & certainly not recommended.

I have to start with saying the front desk staff were wonderful! So helpful and knowledgeable. I wanted to visit my grandparent's home town and needed a car and driver. I had done research on the web before I went, but the staff found me the same service for about 60 euros less. The hotel is in a great location.

Having read one or two less favourable reviews when I booked this hotel I was slightly anxious.

On arrival very late in Palermo with two tired teenagers in tow, we were greeted with a friendly efficient manner and our rooms were nothing short of perfect. My son, in particular, was delighted at the slippers made available for use in his room (simple things!!!).

As another reviewer has pointed out, the double beds are HUGE. The rooms are very large, cool and comfortably furnished. The bathroom is what you would expect from a good quality four star hotel (which was of relief). Breakfast is buffet style and plentiful in choice.

This hotel is just off Politeama square (less than 5 minutes walk), down a pleasant quiet side street with public gardens.

We were all very pleased with this hotel and could not have picked anything better for our purpose (short stopover in Palermo, on route to elsewhere in Sicily), and at the £55.00 per night price it was a bargain!

This hotel is in a very central location in order to get around Palermo.
We paid about 70 euros a night for a double en suite room (including buffet breakfast)
The rooms were very spacious, the bed was more king size than double!
The rooms were equipped with a fridge, tea making facilities and we also had a very nice balcony. The rooms also had air conditioning. The bathroom is very spacious also, the only problem is our shower head was broken so we had to hold it up.

The staff at the hotel were very helpful and in the main lobby internet was free to use on a MAC.

On our final morning there seemed to be a problem with hot water in the whole hotel. We wanted to have a shower at about 10 after breakfast but the hot water wasnt working, we contacted the recpetion on numerous occasions who told us it would be coming back on. We waited about 2 hours and it still hadnt come back on, we ended up leaving the hotel to go to the beach without the hot water coming back on.

Thanks!

Stayed for one night only. got upgraded to a very nice junior suite containing 2 televisions, 2 minibars, jacuzzi, balcony, small sitting area in seperate room. Only cabled internet and you had to ask at reception for code. at first we got a code valid for 3 hours and needed to get a new one later on. hotel is located in quiet area near the best rated restaurant here on tripadvisor and close to the main shopping area. Had to leave early, did not try breakfast, but we got an excellent impression of this hotel. Beware of cab drivers in Palermo by the way.
