This is a comfortable hotel, centrally situated, reasonably priced, with a four star feel and a great breakfast and WiFi. Parking can be a bit tricky but have the odd euro ready and a "parker" will spring out of nowhere to help you along. All in all a very pleasant stay.

Room Tip: Try to get a room on the fourth floor to insulate yourselves from the club music on the street below.

Stayed at the Best Western Al Cavalieri in Palermo on a tour with Grand European, with Insight Tours as the Italian hosts. The hotel was very good and centally located to sights and shopping areas. Staff was OK.

This hotel is in the heart of the business district in Palermo. Everything is in walking distance and there is reliable bus service if required .

The hotel is very clean.

The staff is accommodating and many speak English.

Free breakfast buffet with hot or cold meals availAble each day complete with wait staff for assistance.

Room Tip: Book early and use Best western home page for reservations and a great price! Ask for a rom with a balcony for a great view. Walk out balcony too.

Rooms were nice, clean and breakfast was nice- nothing too special. To me, it lacked character and our room had an awful view of a nearby building. For the price we paid, I expected a bit more out of it but the staff was exceptional and the location was nice- a better part of Palermo.

Rooms were clean but a bit broken down (no cover on the air conditions box and exposed cables) but staff were surly at best. Breakfast was marginal with watered down juice and the worst coffee we have had in Italy. Hoping for new staff attitude at breakfast but disappointed there. Would not recommend this hotel despite its excellent location.
